Rather uneventful stage, which is to be expected after the Pyrenees.
All I can say is, poor Kashechkin.
Looking forward to stage 18 on thursday, with the 3.1km @10.1% climb at the end of the stage.
That, and stage 19, will make up who's in the top 3 and who's not. First place is obviously given, save for bad fortune (knock on wood), but 2nd and 3rd spot are not certain at all.

I waited until I had watched the daily program on OLN before I even came on the board. That way I couldn't be tempted ...
Seeing that rider hit in the face with the thunder stick wasn't pretty. Those things can sting! Hopefully his nose isn't broken...

I think its a time trial tomorrow or for them its in a couple of hours. Could be wrong.
I also learned an interesting fact today. The riders intake around 5-6+ thousand calories while riding on their bikes each day.

SlimKid15 said:Imagine being that " the best conditioned athlete in the world" Let alone probably best conditioned person in the world.... Anyways though one more race Lance come on..Oh yeah one more thing when is his next book due out?
Kajun said:I think it's a bit too easy to say he's the best conditioned in the world. Just because you think he's the best out of all the athletes you follow, does not mean he's the best conditioned.
There are many iron men out there.
Not to undermine the fact that he is an amazing athlete, which he obviously is.
