Official 24 thread for 2007...

My guess is he lives until the last or 2nd to last episode (it's a "24" tradition that the bad guys you hate the most always find a way to slip away from their initial captures) The show seems to have slowed down just a wee bit after the nuke went off; maybe it's just hard to continue with the same anxiety after that. I wonder if there's more at stake then the 4 remaining nukes.

I think this was a transition episode. They're putting an awful lot of stuff out there that might or might not mean anything later down the road...

Having said that, I do agree this wasn't an "edge of your seat" hour but I can remember a couple of those in past seasons, too, because the writers had to find a way to prepare us for the upcoming events.

Hey, Jack's already pretty pissed off. Wait until he finds out brother dear was the one responsible for him being turned over to the Chinese. I have a feeling it's gonna get real awkward at the family's holiday dinner table.

:p

Talk about twists and turns... Sure not the perfect family, is it?

I knew dear old Dad was slimey.

I missed the show. Where can I get a rundown of what happened?

Edit: And, no, I did not tape it.

Have I got the place for you!!!

They haven't posted tonight's episode yet, probably because it's not over in Hawaii.

Once they do, however, you get a minute-by-minute breakdown. It should be up by morning.

I have updated some of the sounds my computer makes, thanks to this site:

http://division.ctuhq.us/media.html

Now, when I turn it on in the morning I hear the clock ticking from 24. When I shut it down at night I hear the digital clock. And when I hear the ringing of the CTU internal phone, it means I have a new email.

:D

I want to find a sound byte wav file or six with various favorite quotes from Jack, such as the one about pain...

I wonder if I can find a "CTU scrambled image processor that anyone who's ever watched enough episodes of 24 knows will obviously resolve into a picture of Morris" screensaver.

Woohoo! Another good episode (or 2). Jack's father is really the scum of the earth, isn't he?

You know, I may never look at my Milwaukee drill quite the same way again...

I KNOW!!!!!!! That was AWFUL - but it did serve its purpose, poor Morris.
Also, when will people learn that it is always better to tell Jack everyting. His sister-in-law should have known that!

I HATE the Jack's dad storyline. Cromwell is the only thing saving it. When he is onscreen I can get past the mind numbingly awful character motivation he has been given. He is truly a fantastic actor.

Ironically enough I really like the largely poorly acted DC storyline. I don't know whether I want Lennox to redeem himself and get killed or survive to be an even bigger jerk/villain down the road.

OH MY. THe ending was good - did NOT see that coming. I actually was a tiny bit confused at first. NEXT WEEK WILL BE GOOD!!!!

Holy crap.

I thought sure Bauer senior was going to end up shooting himself rather than face the humiliation of having everything he had done made public.

I agree with chelle. Next week should be pretty interesting...

I need to go back and rent some of the earlier years of the show. Maybe I will spend my summer doing that. I am a bit confused since I only started watching last year and I missed the last couple of episodes.

My guess is that Mrs. Logan left him (most likely with Aaron ;) ) and he just is totally lost without her. I'm guessing that's what he wants from Jack. A way to redeem himself and get his wife back.
