FYI - They've shown the Carl's Jr. commercial three times. I finally noticed something. There is NO mention of the Kings in the commercial whatsoever. The text says "The Maloofs. Owners of The Palms Resort and Casino. Net worth: $1 billion." Then they show the Maloof brothers - Joe, Gavin and George - eating fries, a burger and drinking the 24-year-old Bordeaux. And they call it "the $6,000 combination meal. Available only at the Palms."

G&J chatting, talking about how the second half was so much better than the first half. They say Artest just about drove Muss nuts telling him to "put me in." Talking about Martin and Bibby and how much hustle Garcia showed tonight.

Kevin on his way out of the locker room.

G: Thanks! 2nd half much better. What was the talk at half-time?

K: Muss said don't turn it over so much!

G: Is ball different?

K: I don't think so. A ball is a ball. I think it's better for handling.

G: you look comfortable.

K: Yeah, me and Mike - we're just trying to get it going out there. I think we're doing it!

G: You were good last year at Arco. Now you have to take it on the road.

K: Yeah. I think I've grown a lot. My first start was on the road and I got 20. It's all just basketball.

G: Is the chemistry starting to develop with the starters?

K: We're starting to gel. We just want to go into the season healthy.

Jerry says "It's a great well. Kings took Muss's advice and took care of the ball in the second half."

------------------------------

That's all, folks!!!

Very impressive outing by Price, among others. The Bibby-Martin backcourt is really starting to look good. Corliss is earning minutes and, despite his tendency to go out of control, so is Cisco. This team just might surprise some people. But, having said that, we still have front-court woes if you want to maintain a traditional look.

I'm please to see Ronnie's progress. They say he is a really hard worker, but it seems like our young guys share that work ethic, which went a notch higher with the arrival of Artest. Price, Martin and Cisco. It seems like Douby shares that attitude from what people say about him, that know him.
