Bill Walton worshiped John Wooden - maybe like no other athlete I've even seen in reverence of a former coach. Surely he'll be a pallbearer and perhaps even give a eulogy. I hope he does because Walton captures the character, wisdom of Coach Wooden the best I've ever heard. There's the funny, crazy Bill and the serious Bill - and the serious one can be quite intellectually profound when he wants to be.

I am actually saddened by this loss. I have no ties with him whatsoever, but I loved what I have read of the dude's philosophy. He did, however, lead a long and fulfilling life.
