We're trying to snatch defeat, out of the jaws of victory!
4 missed free throws in a row by professionals is unacceptable.
...loss to the Nuggets is:
*that the Kings will need to work on keeping leads when they get them against quality teams. Seldom have they had any sort of commanding leads against quality teams this season (not to mention last season), so to lose this one after such an excellent start may help the team learn to get tough and close out games in the lead when they get them.
The team lost its focus and got sloppy after they had such commanding leads for so long in this game, so, perhaps, Coach T can use this to help them learn to get the killer instinct and to close out games when they can, yes?
This is why I quit driving 20 minutes to the bar to watch kings games
Well? Which is it?This is why I quit taking those 15 minute drives to the bar for kings games.
We were beat by our very own, very tight sphincters.
Yeah, um...that's it...I just did some research on our culprit, Linas Kleiza, and it turns out that he shoots 61.1% from 2 pointers, but only 32.2% from three pointers. He did miss some open three pointers against us--so the secret? Make him take a three pointer.
Add this one to the many thousands we've already had.I have never seen a team lose as many heartbreakers as us, just crazy.
