Now this is the game...

...that tears my heart out.

I know the kings have had it much worse in past seasons. But I was still a bball newbie then, not as cognizant of the game as I am now. And this one just did it for me. Because for a precious 1 minute I thought we'd get the win.

Just...blue.

Big props to the Kings, especially Kevin Martin, Bonzi Wells, and Reef. Not trying to be cheekie or anything, granted that i don't watch the game here in my country, but simply from following the game from the web, i can feel and sense the level of the game competitiveness, breathtaking ! Kings have shown the world their heart and pride tonite.
.........................
It's gonna be a battle in Sacto, i guarantee that !

From all the heartbreaking stuff that happened to this organization in the past that i had endured, i feel kinda numb.

i hated to lose, no doubt about that. but this time, i felt like at least we had nothing to lose.

I'm so proud of their effort, I'm so happy they're still playing.

I love those guys.

The loss does sting, but it also gave me hope. The guys played really hard and that's all i could ask from them.

go kings!

Thought you had
all the answers
to rest your heart upon.
But something happens,
don't see it coming, now
you can't stop yourself.
Now you're out there swimming...
In the deep.
In the deep.

Life keeps tumbling your heart in circles
till you... Let go.
Till you shed your pride, and you climb to heaven,
and you throw yourself off.
Now you're out there spinning...
In the deep.
In the deep.
In the deep.
In the deep.

And now you're out there spinning...
And now you're out there spinning...
In the deep.
In the deep.
In the deep.

And the silence,
or your secrets, well
raise a worry hand.
Well, you can pin yourself back together,
to who you thought you were.
Now you're out there livin'...
In the deep.
In the deep.
In the deep.

In the deep...

Now you're out there spinning...
Now you're out there swimming...
Now you're out there spinning...
In the deep.
In the deep.
In the deep.

Sums up the life of a Kings fan pretty much...

My thoughts too. That's all I ask for every game, for them to give it their all.

I'm one of the fans that actually thought the Kings were going to win for a minute there too. I was just glad it wasn't Horry that shoot that 3 pointer to go OT.

this IS the game.. that hurts so bad. last game i was embarrassed and just sad for the organization. this game.. was more than winnable. we had it in our reach. so many missed opportunites... we even managed to catch a coupla breaks and then, we just choked. period. noone else to blame. no pointing fingers or excuses. nothing this time. it comes back to us. i just really feel for Reef/Bonzi and Kevin who really put effort into this thing to see this happen. someone wake up Bibby and send Miller packing. im sorry but he gots to go. yeah, back to topic this loss hurts for sure.

It's a disappointing loss. The bigger picture is that we proved we can match them even without Artest. Spurs held serve. Now, it's our turn. It's gonna be an exciting series.

I am sad that we lost, but I am proud of how they responded. I guess that I have been a fan for too long to REALLY be upset tonight. We were not even supposed to have a shot tonight. They held their own. WE have endured many MUCH MORE difficult losses than tonight. I am truly excited to be a Kings fan. I WAS PROUD TONIGHT. Mike had some bone head plays at the end and his shot was out of it all night, but he LED them tonight. I honestly think that Brad has to be sick or something! But over all, I was impressed. WE WILL HOLD COURT AT ARCO. Mike will find his shot. Brad will be well. We will have Ron. I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL NEXT SEASON. We will REALLY compete then.

This game was - yucky, but not even close to being a tear jerker for me.

Yeah, it always hurts to lose a big game, you thought for a moment you we're going to have a chance to win. But on the pain meter of Kings playoff games, this one's on the lower end of the scale. I am very proud of how this team responded tonight. Remember, they were playing an NBA dynasty team having its best season ever and on their home court. Tonight, our guys did themselves proud, as far as I'm concerned.

this loss doesn't hurt me. i knew we would lose when we were up 3 with 7 seconds to go. i didn't bother watching the ot. typical kings basketball. if you're not numb by now give it another season.

Does this mean that we have another Kings killer on the Spurs(Brent Barry)? I don't like Barry at all and how that 3 ever went in is beyond me...

This loss stings big time! We had it and let it go...... kinda encapsulates the whole season.

If only.

Still numb, but I'm kinda getting used to it. Sorta. Not really.

The team still has a LOT of work to do. The job will probally not get done this year (obvious) but we are looking in the right direction (Dallas last year). We still need a mighty post defender, I just don't know how were going to get one.

All I know is Kevin, Bonzi and Shareef, especially Shareef showed a lot of heart out there.

.... after all is said and one - IT'S JUST A GAME

Now let me get back to what I really freakin' (sorry) feel ....

You guys had it - you had the game WON .... and you ALL know what you had to do to finish the game for the WIN.

All I gotta ask is WHY DIDN'T YOU DO THAT ???? :(

Yep, I only caught the 4th quarter, but during this time I had the same old feeling about how the game would end: a big fat L. We could not make any stops, and not just that, but in some of the crucial moments the other team had UNCONTESTED layups. I was actually surprised we hung in there for as long as we did. Props to Shareef on his 4th quarter play, but welcome to Kings playoffs experience - maybe you would have been better off without.

If that is a welcome to Kings playoff basketball, I say sign me up for more. We were playing the defending champions (who got better over the offseason) without our best player, and we barely lost on a ball that had a tremendous (tremendously awful) bounce. That was a fun game to watch. Not the right ending, but more efforts like that and we win a few. Actually, more eforts like that and we win it all.

we had to get EMBARRASSED to even give a good effort. then we play our hearts out(with the exception of mike and brad) but still find a way to lose!! so you're signed up, hope you don't have a heart condition.;)

We did not find a way to lose. They played a great game against a better team and lossed. I will not apologize for thinking this team played well yesterday. That is the grit and heart that I want from my team.

Yeah this one really hurt me bad. I couldn't concentrate at school all day long. Unfortunately I feel it will continue to haunt me. The only was to get over it would be to win the series - unlikely. I will have a long off season.

exactly what i felt!

if horry was the one who sent it to OT...... omg. now THAT is a very hurtful scenario for me.
