No Suspension or Fine for Cousins

Some fans are going to be really disappointed.

Such a chance tonight to prove we don't need him.
Not really most of us who want Cousins gone realize we are crap with or without him

I never thought there should have been in the first place, but Vlade's statement, and the threatening gesture rule gave me pause. Onward ho:

That kind of made me question what the heck Vlade was doing. I know he said he doesn't think Cuz should be suspended, but just saying that he thinks the league will almost voluntarily agrees that Cousins did something to warrant a suspension according to league standards.

All Cousins did was get angry when he got tossed. No violence or threats were made and to me, he left in the same amount of time as anyone else that gets thrown out. Aileen's article was an idiotic revenge piece for getting shut out by Boogie.

Oh, I had no idea she had gotten involved too, nor that people were still reading that rag.

But I did go out to taunt her on twitter.

Glad he's not suspended, I don't think many Kings fans wanted him suspended, just expected it given Vlade's statements and DMC's history. Hope he comes out strong and has a great game. Not being optimistic that things will turn around does not mean fans are not hoping for the best outcome and having DMC stay and work out in Sac.

Her too?

I was wondering what the bleep was going on around here.

I found out about her article when I was looking at tweets about Cousins for an update on possible suspension. Aileen tweeted her own article and made a comment that it was time to suspend Boogie for a couple games for his latest actions. I wonder if she knows that the fans know Cousins has shut her out of all media questions, because it's very obvious she's being vindictive. She is one that would love to see Cousins get traded because getting shut out by the star of the only major sports team in town would make her job as a sports writers very difficult I would think. :D

She made it sound like what Cousins did was so bad when it was a very normal ejection. It's typically how these things goes and somehow, Cousins committed a sin while others that got ejected are hardly mentioned the next day.

Disagree. Voison's article was right on in my view. She did an excellent job on describing. And commenting on the Cuz drama. Whether or not he would get suspended was an NBA matter. The problem called Cuz is still ours and I hope it mproves. I am looking forward to it.

She also went so far as to call his behavior "bullying". Pretty clear both she and Grant had been waiting all season for this. What happened last night? NOT BULLYING.

Michael Jordan was a classic bully. He couldn't even stop doing it in his induction speech. I've never heard Cuz tear apart teammates and the janitor and everyone who helped him along the way. Jordan did that.

"Cousins' persistent bullying reflects horribly on the franchise, strips his teammates and coaches of their emotional equilibrium and contributes mightily to a losing culture."

That's a new one.

The media around here is pretty vindictive. I'll give them that. Clueless, yet vindictive. Sure, no ax to grind there Ailene. Good luck ever getting an interview again.

I honestly don't understand how this has become THE WORST THING EVER.

What Rondo did was order of magnitudes worse folks. Much much worse. The kind of thing you spend the rest of your life trying to fix.

THIS? This isn't that. At all.

It was a hit piece as described earlier. No excuse for that. Maybe she should have some guts and question Karl on his defensive schemes and don't settle for a eyewash answer.
