Nik Stauskas Complete Scouting Video

And Iverson is top 10 ish in steals all time. Not a lockdown defender all the time, but id say steals qualify him as someone who plays D and O.

Harden played good D in OKC

Not really you just didn't notice as much. He did put out a tiny bit of effort on defense in OKC but now he doesn't even try.

Also funny that you think Harden plays defense or at some point played defense but then say that Peja didn't.

Peja actually worked himself into a solid defender and very underrated defender. Just because he's white and can shoot didn't mean he could not play defense. In the playoffs Peja never went soft on the defensive end, it was the offensive end where he vanished in the clutch.

I am excited to see this kid shoot in real NBA games, but equally I am looking forward to his passing ability and overall offensive game.

Ok good, so it's not just me.

Stauskas seems to be quite the shooter, but not just a one dimensional player. If he can hold his own on D, and now that it looks like we're heading towards a coherent offense with actual roles (flexible as they may be)... I think there's a chance this kid could REALLY light it up.

Yes yes, lots of off/pre season hopes, and no evidence to dash them... but still... I don't think the Kings have drafted a shooter this good since Peja... and I'm including McClemore. And I still love McClemore for his potential, and I do think he'll figure it out. We may have our own set of splash bros.

With Gay getting some run at the 4 for USAB, I'd be excited to see a line up of (depending on opponent of course): Ray (need the D), Stauskas, Ben, Gay, Cousins. Every one of those players can shoot from the outside. 2 of them can create their own shot. 4 of them are good passers. Let's just hope the team defense concept takes hold in training camp. But tell me, o board of Kings: are you not a small amount enraptured at thought of that lineup after 25 games of settling in?
