I think Slab called this during the Jag game - it was stupid to bring Purdy back iffy - now they'll probably pay the price and wait longer overall.....sounds like Jones is iffy anyway which will bring up whoever the 3rd sting is now - and likely require grabbing another emergency QB

The issue was that Purdy was still somehow healthier than Mac was last week.

With no ability to apply pressure to Stafford, we will likely get picked apart. If our offense doesn’t turn the ball over and we don’t allow any big plays on special teams we MIGHT keep this within 7. Given the circumstances 10 sounds about right.

Its more their offense getting stuffed, and turning the ball over, and yes the defense will break because their secondary is pedestrian with no recovery speed on breakdowns. Luckily no Green who's terrible. And Stout and Lenoir are average, while Lenoir seems to be overrated. Sigle wasn't really impressive either though its early - he also got abused by Jags. I expect the Rams to gash the 49ers on run plays wtih capable Williams for plenty of 4 to 7 yard runs. Winters has been one of the only bright spots on defense this season, but he's not a shutdown LB yet. I expect the game to be kinda close for a little while with the Rams pulling ahead in the 2nd half. 49ers defense still no intereptions.
