Like it. O line is a problem, but d line was just as big, if not more, of a bigger issue. Just got gashed every game
I like what they've done for the defense so far. The front seven pre-draft was going to be Bosa, Warner, Winters and 4 question marks. At least now those 4 question marks have got age and draft pedigree on their side. On the other hand, there really needs to be a rabbit in a hat trick involved with these late round picks or we'll be watching a team with no offensive line for the third year in a row.

feels like another year where Kyle is more confident in his ability to MacGyver together a good offense than he is in the defense being good without strong talent in the front seven.

I wonder if the Niners disaster of an Offensive Line is now figuring into contract negotiations with Purdy? The defense needed all the help they could get and starting linemen are expensive to obtain in free agency (we couldn't even afford to keep the ones we already had) so I understand the draft philosophy. But still, if I'm Brock Purdy I'm definitely asking for more guaranteed money now knowing that I'm going to be getting hit a lot in the upcoming season.

It was fun while it lasted.
Bargain, all things considering. I think a fair deal for both sides.
He's not Allen, Lamar, Mahomes tier, but he's squarely in that next group right after them. And he elevated his game last year where he showed his 23 wasn't a fluke and he was able to still perform at a high level.
Very useful timing that we are finally out of the Lance deal and got all our picks back going to need them now going forward
