NFL 2024-2025 Thread

Both Banks and Moore are off the OLine on massive overpays by the Chiefs and Packers respectively.

They were terrible but now our depth is even worse.

Justin Fields chases the money to the Jets. At least he gets one payday before crashing and burning … maybe the Niners can make him the next Jets reclamation project next offseason.

Sam Darnold to the Hawks on a big deal. Let’s see how he fares without Justin Jefferson and on a Hawks team with now no DK.

Niners let Greenlaw walk to Denver for 35 mil.

Absurd they didn’t match that. This season is going to suck; and it deserves to suck.

& if it wasn’t already glaringly obvious. The window is SLAMMED shut.

Wow...The defense is gonna look a bit rough next season.

Cutting costs. Greenlaw hurts, the others I expected. Hufanga isn't the type of speedy coverage saftety Saleh prefers, and Banks & Moore were middling OLinemen that got overpaid.

Yeah, Greenlaw is the only real remotely missed piece we've lost so far and a soon to be 28 year old LB coming off major surgery isn't someone we should be THAT mad at letting walk. Hufanga, when he was even able to get on the field, was pretty bad. Severely outplayed by Brown and Mustapha

All of this is necessary so far. Need to cut costs, need to get younger

Mac Jones is the newest member of the Shanahan Bust QB reclamation school.

I've never been a Mac Jones fan, but he's very likely an upgrade from Josh Dobbs and Brandon Allen.

Purdy, Jones, and Tanner Mordecai as the developmental/3rd QB is fine by me. If Purdy goes down for an extended stretch the team is in big trouble anyway.

And Jordan Mason is gone for some reason, traded to Minnesota.

Got some draft value for a guy we don't need and just didn't let him walk for nothing. Like it from our perspective.

If we didn't have Guerendo, obviously don't flip him, but think this is a decent sign we expect CMC to start the year healthy.

We almost got as much for Mason as we got for Deebo lol

should’ve dealt Deebo before last season when everybody was ready for them to and before he could deliver his third straight sub par season
