NFL 2024-2025 Thread

? Solly was never an edge. Mykel for sure is.

I'm talking skill wise. On tape they look like the same player to me. I didnt see a single plus skill in Solomon and I don't see one in Williams either.

Walker popped on tape. I can't even tell I'm looking at an NFL prospect when watching Williams highlights.

At least we didn’t pick the non-popper at 3. I remember Solly getting drafted and even the guys on the hype panel weren’t able to hype his game.

Supposedly, dominant run blocker, sets the edge incredibly well, demands doubles teams and played on a high ankle sprain last year.

To me, it's noteworthy he's a 3 year starter on probably the best team in the country over the last 3 years and played real snaps as an 18 year old freshman. Will be 21 years old all next season.

Pretty much seems to be a consensus that everyone thinks he's going to be a very good football player. High floor and his ceiling is tied to how his pass rush develops

Apparently the Niners were trying to trade up for him, and the “THE PICK IS IN” was up with a handful of seconds.

So at the very least we know the Niners got their guy. Hopefully they’re right about him!

Now get Skattebo today!!!

Yeah I remember that. I watched last night's draft delayed on DVR and the panel was having issues with Williams as well. All the compliments in the world about his size and athleticism but basically said he needs to actually develop skills now in order to be a productive player.

It looks like he's solid in the run but I didn't see the explosiveness off the line that his size and athleticism says he has. Hopefully that's because of the high ankle sprain.

I'm slowly beginning to think that I'll be seeing Shedeur play in Vegas at some point...
Do I like it? No
Will I settle with it (should that be the route the Raiders decide to take)? Only if Will Johnson is no longer available.

Raiders just gave Geno a nice extension. The last thing they should be doing is take Sheduer and have to deal with all the drama that entails. (also if Pete Carroll thought Russ was too big headed, then he'll love the Sanders family)

Reading around a bit, think they said he was like 60% AT BEST. But wanted to "tough it out" and play, which is pretty rare in this era for high picks to do.

Overall, pretty excited about the pick. Very rare for it to be consensus of "this guy good". Havent seen one negative take on this for us. Usually a good sign

Love that their stacking defensive players so far.

I'd like to see them take a swing on WR Jalen Royals. Reminds me of Deebo.
