Not bringing back Mostert is one of the stupidest things the Niners have managed to do.
You can see he still has his speed.
I get the injury concerns … but man, just silly to let walk at 3 mil.

Bridgewater not up for the task, kinda like JimmyG![]()
I give Teddy a bit of a break. Dude’s a new backup on a new team, it makes sense he made an errant throw where he thought his guy was going one way, then went the other.
Jim’s been the exact same QB with the same team and playbook for 5 years.
I actually think Teddy will keep them afloat.
I dunno, it looked pretty poor to me, like he wasn't paying attention. Mostert runs were working pretty well and they still had time on a. 2nd and 10 - dump off to Mostert or something creative with Hill.....
I get it. McDaniels came off really badly. But there’s a happy medium between McDaniels’ reaction and Nowinski immediately going on about pushing for murder charges (in a since deleted) tweet like an hour before Tua got released from the hospital.
This whole thing is a tragedy but it sure is a treat to see how many self serving folks with agendas crawling out of the woodwork. And even while I mostly agree with Nowinski I'm pretty sure Tua has some agency here. Yesterday's tackle would have concussed anyone and is probably unrelated to Sunday, obviously back to back is horrifying but Tua isn't a middle schooler trying to impress a coach he might see in high school.
Oh, I imagine that he is a smart dude. I remember him getting a lot of phrase back in his WWE days because of that. I just found it funny that the guy who used to wrestle at one point and, along with Matt Hardy, got whooped up on by Scott Steiner when he made his WWE debut (Survivor Series) and the guy who is now commenting on Tua's concussion are the same person. He is an expert on CTE and has done a lot of great work in conjunction with my alma mater on the matter.
yeah, unfortunately he had to quit because of concussions. He and Taylor Twellman are probably the most outspoken on the matter as Taylor lost his soccer career to repeated concussions. Both have my utmost respect although sometimes they cross the line a bit because I feel like they don't consider athlete and performers' roles in this. They also know the risks and choose to press on. My boy got a lot of extra playing time last week at his 8th grade game, I thought it was just because the team was winning they told the kid in front of him to take the second half off but apparently he suffered a pretty major concussion and didn't know where he was at the start of the second halfOh, I imagine that he is a smart dude.
