Yeah, should have run the ball to use the clock on the previous possession and should have called a TO instead of letting it roll into a rushed third and long with the game on the line. Another 4th quarter collapse for the resume. I hope next year is different with Trey under center.

Tartt had the game ball in his hands and let it slip through. The play calling could have been better but Jimmy missed a lot of reads so it's hard to really know where the ball was supposed to go on a lot of those plays.

New Andy Reid. Kyle’s never winning when it matters. Absolute meltdowns.

We'll see. He sold the farm to get Trey Lance and brought him along slowly behind a veteran who isn't great but is good enough to get this team to the NFC championship game twice. Lance wasn't going to get us here as a rookie. If Kyle can't win when it counts over the next few years with his hand-chosen QB then he'll have earned that reputation. All the pieces are here, it's just about calling the right plays and executing now.

I dislike Jim more than I dislike Marvin Bagley. I dislike Jim more than I ever disliked AJ Pierzynski. Good f’ing riddance to a trash tier QB.

It was also very nice of DeMeco Ryans to call his worst game of the season to make sure he's back with the Niners next year.

Secondary lost the game, but helped by an inexplicable 2nd to last offensive toothless drive and incompetent game management at 6:30 min left - delay of game and play clock running out.....bad coaching....even with a decisive timeout advantage.

The dropped interception might've been the difference in between OT and loss. The safeties and DBs were incompetent, but also the Rams O-Line won the game - 49ers pass rush neutralized mostly.

Go Bengals - bittersweet at least no Chiefs in the SuperBowl.

Tough situation for him but at least he knows he's just got to wear it. There's nothing else to say.

One good thing about this run is that the first round pick we owe the Dolphins is now almost a second rounder, which is better than the top ten pick it was earlier in the year.

Niners still should’ve won that game. If Shanny had more balls, if Tartt could catch a pop up, if Jimmy G was any good. Just frustrating. Oh, well. I never trusted Jimmy G. Glad his time on the Niners is over.

The second the jerk overshot EMan. Even if you didn’t want to admit it, you knew deep down he was going to be the reason the Niners didn’t win in the end.

And now we waste next season, another year of Bosa and Deebo’s careers and contracts, as Trey has essentially his rookie season and all the growing pains that come with it.
