Imagine Chicago continuing to start Andy Dalton over this guy.

Now you can stop imagining because that’s exactly what the Niners are doing.

Not a big deal for Deron but Frank doesn't need anything to help him down the road to CTE. Usually football players don't have a chin once they start fighting due to all the hits to the head they took over their careers. If Deron can box at all, he'll probably KO Frank.

Here’s to hoping he’s Nate Robinson out there.

My not unbiased POV: Mac took a blindside hit and lost the ball and thought the guy had recovered it, attempted to tackle and end the play. Maybe it's a hold/tripping penalty as it turns out the player did not have the ball, but I don't think that his intention was to injure the guy.

Not-unbiased is right - Burns is on top of him with Jones facing up, he can see he doesn't have the ball. It was a dangerous judo move manipulation to the ankle - Jones ought to have been suspended a couple games without pay minimum.

I want to hate what the Rams are doing … but I don’t. They have seemingly infinite draft picks and money while the Niners miss on everything and have to trade their most important player because they couldn’t afford him and Armstead.

I mean, they've basically punted most of their top picks over the next couple years, but I think it's pretty smart recognizing they have a window right now to compete for a championship. And as we've seen time and time again (Take a look at the Chiefs who everyone thought was just going to keep rampaging for years), a football title window is like 2-3 years at most.

It's more or less what the Lakers have done around LeBron. Pretty sure they've traded every available pick to like 2027 to try and keep a 2ish year window open

The Dolphins just gave a blueprint game against the Ravens....that was a defensive masterpiece....7 guys on the line of scrimmage every play and Jackson pees his pants. Why the Ravens went away from Freeman running the ball who knows or even focus Jackson on runs.

The title window thing is kinda true, until you have dynasty teams that reign over more than 2 or 3 years - Steelers 70s, 49ers in the 80s and Cowboys in the 90s and Patriots in 00-10s. I hated the Cowboys before, and still hate Bitchelchek and Patsies....after that dirty Kung Fu - Mac Jones is now on my sh&tlist. What a baby. Once Bitchel leaves, will probably go back to neutral on the Patsies.

The Rams look like a playoff team, but championship team? I dunno. Cardinals might be a bit better balanced, but wondering on their experience - they're green. I like the Cardinals though much more than Rams and Seahawks. I wouldn't mind them winning. Stafford never quite looks good enough - he's had a good season statistically so far - but I wouldn't take him in the playoffs. He's better than Goof, but doesn't instill confidence...the loss to the Titans shows you why - single-handedly on him. Stafford has had a few deep-stink interceptions that make you wonder. He won nothing with the Lions either.

Thick-headed Rogers gift-wrapped the Chiefs a win with his half-witted subterfuge on league policy. Was hoping the Chiefs would miss the playoffs - and they still might - their remaining schedule is not easy, and their defense is rot. Tired of pretty-boy Mahomey, but with 7 playoff spots, the Chiefs are likely in the wild-card bunch.
