It's posturing that is derived from what his value should be based on. Valuation is in the eye of the beholder. I can show a company is worth $100b or $0. Depends on the proxy. Startups, in the past and not as much currently, still use consumer eye balls (rather than revenue) as a proxy--for example. WRs have longer careers and have higher average values. RBs haven't really been valued since probably the early 2000s. So dude still wants to be a wide back, but he wants to paid as an elite WR only. Hence the trade request. I love Deebo, but if the Niners can get #10 and an early second, do it.

Yeah, what makes Deebo special is getting him the ball in space and letting him go. You put him as a pure WR... he's not near a 25 mil dollar player.

Apparently Kyle was making the rounds at the meetings wondering why others don’t want Jim because he’s so much better than what they already have.

Kyle. Teams have seen Jim play for the last 3 years. No one wants him. He’s bad. He’s always hurt. He’s overpaid. This would be hilarious if it wasn’t my team being so absurd with a dude.

Jimmy's contract is tough to swallow but I don't see how team doesn't take a step back this year with Lance. Maybe it works out but careful what you wish for.

I don’t think the Niners would touch him. Shifty, elite shiftiness. But looks maybe 4.6 on tape and extremely soft. Avoids contact. Brandon Lloyd. Niners like those physical types. Seems he skipped voluntary off season workouts and there are some locker room issues. New Giants FO. Think they’re sending out a red flag. Chk out the comments. Wouldn’t give anything more than a 4th for him.

Cashing out on Samuel’s incredible wideback season is so money. Dude doesn’t want to play like that anymore and in his past true receiver season he went >400 yards and 1 TD.

I’m almost as over Tyshun as I am Jim. But at least we’ll get something for one of them!

i wouldn’t even need a day two pick next yr. 10 and their first second this yr would be enough. There are three wrs that i think could be plug and plays that the niners could snatch up at 10 (London though he’d be more of a power foward type of wr), in the second (watkins, dynamic in Shanahans system), and in the third (velvus jones jr; prob the closes deebo clone in the draft, but old)

I dont really like it, but if its the state of things, so be it. A top 10 1st-R-pick would be more than fair; additionals would be gravy. They could feasibly go for a top WR in the draft to replace immediately if they like or a top corner and go for WR at 2nd R for replacement. Or OL.
