That raiders/chargers game was crazy
This has been one of the best football Sunday’s I can remember. Not only did my favorite team play horribly for one entire half and then come back with some of the most spectacular football I’ve ever seen to win, but the Steelers/Ravens goes into overtime, the raiders/chargers go into overtime with crazy elimination scenarios flying all over the place, and the colts lost to the lowly Jaguars to get eliminated. Your playing a 2-14 team! All you have to do is beat them and you are in the playoffs! Wow! What a great football Sunday! The NFL is king!!!!!!

I’m gonna admit it, I was talking to my 49er buddy in Tampa commiserating on how bad jimmy sucked and what kind of shellacking shanny was gonna take in the post game conference. We were debating on whether we were gonna turn the game off in disgust. My buddy shut it off in complete disgust. I almost turned it off but in the end I just couldn’t. I’m a sucker for punishment. Omg, I’m so glad I got to witness the complete demoralization of a really good team. You could see the joy drain out of the rams offensive players faces on the sidelines as the Niners marched down the field by running the ball right down their throats! “Oh noooooooo. Not again…….”

I think it's funny that in my post above, Next Gen Stats says "Top 5" in the graphic....and then shows 4.

Wentz getting dogged:

Not sure if any better than Garrapolo.....he does some things better and some things worse. He's a better scrambler (not saying much), but holds the ball longer. One thing Garrapolo knows is he has to get the ball out because he's so slow. Garrapolo is more interception prone. Garrapolo seems to read faster though. A bad game by Wentz to lay an egg aftrer the Colts looked admittedly better than the 49ers and beat them convincingly earlier. Colts have one of the best running back cores in the NFL with Hines/Taylor....although 49ers aren't shabby when Mostert healthy.

my Eagles had a surprising year. They were expected to be in tank mode but pulled off a playoff season. Hurts looks like he might actually be the qb going forward and they have 3 first round picks to upgrade the defense. Can they pull off the major upset against the Bucs? I doubt it but hey they are playing with house money.

Pretty good deal for Culley. Gets paid out the rest of his 3/17 mil deal to NOT have to coach the Texans. Also pretty funny he's the fall guy. If anything the Texans significantly overachieved with 4 wins considering their talent level

Texans owe David Culley another $17 million over the next three years. So Culley walks away with roughly $22 million for one season as Houston's head coach. Giggling all the way to the bank, at age 66 can just retire right now if wants to with his big jackpot.

Yes what the hell is that....usually its a subset of time (salary) guaranteed. Of course if he takes the money it won't look good if wants to be hired by another NFL/College team.

This year there is more parity - I think there might be 2 or possibly (but unlikely) 3 upsets this weekend as opposed to just 1 or none. Mostly NFC I think.

Most possible upsets in order in my mind from most to least likely: Cardinals, 49ers, Raiders, Eagles, Patriots, Steelers
Steelers almost no chance ok 7 in 100, but pulling for them in that game

Watched the highlights from the Bucs/Eagles week 6......2 main things that caused the Eagles to lose - 1 Eagles defense were beaten by the Bucs run game especially Fournette, , and Brady supplemented enough throws, and 2 and probably the largest contributor, Hurts had a bad 1st half, and the Eagles offense took too long to ge going down 28-7. Hurts had too many off throws early including an interception. Eagles will have to play cleaner and more efficiently to have a good shot on Sunday. I'd call it a moderate upset with the injury status of the Bucs vs. major.....if the Bucs had their full contingent then it would be major. I don't think the Bucs are going back this year but wouldn't mind.

Here are my most liked teams from each conference:

NFC 1. 49ers 2, Cardinals 3. Rams
AFC 1. Bills 2. Titans 3 Bengals

My Neutral teams: Raiders, Eagles, Cowboys (I used to hate the Cowboys), Buccaneers, Steelers

Disliked teams: Chiefs, Patriots (due to Belichek), ,Packers (tired of Rogers)

Would you look at that. A QB hitting Emmanuel Sanders deep for the TD. I wish I knew what that was like.
