Hey everyone.... Although I live in Toronto, Canada, I have two passions in my life.... the New York Yankees, and the Sacramento Kings...

I've posted on the New York Yankees Message Board for a long time, on every single gameday thread and everything, since I don't have any fellow diehard fans to chat with up here.... so I always wondered if there'd be a Kings forum where I could meet fans... the Kings official website has no fan forum like the Yankees....

Until I finally found this website, and kingstalk.com. Both great websites. It's a shame I only found 'em today, one day after the season ended.

I'm proud of this team for making the playoffs after being 19-25 and no one believing in them, and even more for putting up such a great fight in round 1. I'm still extremely sad and in tears because of yesterday's loss, and although I wish I had found this forums sooner, I hope that having some good Kings convos with help me get through the offseason, until November when once again it'll be time for some real Kings basketball....

I love the Yanks message board to chat with fellow fans, and I'm so glad I found this.... I've taken a look at some discussions and they seem really good....

Man, I remember this game like it was yesterday. Omg I was sooo pumped after Bibby made that shot, even more after Kobe missed the potential game winner at the buzzer..... lol

Youngspeed -- as a new poster here there is a moderation delay on your posts. They are being recorded, but you can;t see them until they are given the once over. Won't last long.

Oh, that's ok lol. It's good to know that this board is really moderated. The Yankees board where I post has the most pathetic mods ever, it's good to know you guys are active here ;)

No, actually no in portuguese is "não". "No" is the same in English and Spanish though lol.
 
This board really looks awesome lol. Btw could anyone tell me how to get a display pic, and this little text that goes with all your posts on the bottom? I'm trying to get used to all the features here lol.
 
Go to your user control panel. Where it says "edit signature" click on that and decide what you want the "text on the bottom" - known as your signature - to say. The best bet is something simple. New members to forums often make the mistake of using way too many quotes, in too many different colors and too many different sizes. Those are just a little annoying. ;)

As far as your "avatar" goes - the display pic - that's also handled via the user control panel. You need an image no larger than 75 x 75 pixels. It's fairly easy to figure out what to do once you get to the right part of your user control panel.

One more tip? You don't need to use "lol" in every post. It means "laughing out loud" and it's probably the one "word" new people use way too much.

Again, welcome to Kings fans. Be sure and take a moment and add your name and location to the KingsFan map.
