New Offensive Play with Reef and Bonzi?

Did anyone else notice that play that they ran several times in the 3rd and 4th quarter where Bonzi and Reef post up one in front of the other around the middle of the key to the left? Was it a completely new play or was that some play I happened to miss before? We scored twice off of it and turned it over once. Pretty neat I would say.

uh.... that was great and all but the suns had much better ball movement.... we have a lot of work to do....

It is so refreshing to have a low post threat! And having Abdur-Rahim down on the block opens up the jump shots for Peja and Mike.

Yeah, I saw that. It was a good play and shouldd do it more often in the season and in the playoffs.

Yes, still work to do. But the Suns lost and had 14 turnovers. ;)

I can almost garauntee that this was a mistake. These guys are still feeling everything out so I am sure it is just one of those things.

SAR in the post. Bonzi sucking up rebounds like there's no tomorrow. If the team starts to play lock down defense I may start to be just a little afraid...

;)

Don't hold your breath.

I would agree wiht Sactown, I do not specifically recall the play, but that sounds like a mistake to me. Guys would mess with each other's spacing and bring too much defensive help to the region.

That is the bottom line right there. I love SAR's inside presence.

The idea fo setting up Bonzi and Reef in the post seed to bee a drawn up adjustment play desinged to take advantage of the Suns no interior D. Doubt you will it much against any one else and maybe not even again against the Suns.

I think all we need now is DEFENSE! We have rebounding, something we were looking for a long time. DEFENSE will get us the big old prize

Abdur Rahim is better PF than Webber. He is a smarter player, he does not take those shots he knows he will miss, in contrary to webber, that misses alot of shots. He has never played on a good team, and its more difficult to be a good player on bad team than good player on good team. Cause when he was in portland or atlanta, other teams knew they only had to double team him , and that was it. Other teams cant do that to rahim when he is in kings , cause of peja mike and miller. So defenitely, his playing, and stats will be better here in sacrameto than ever before. Just look on the last game.............And he can pass to .

They just have to learn eachother , rahim , wells , and the old players, and this kings team will be the best ever.

I know whats going to follow!

I won't comment on most of the above but for the most part everyones stats have improved while in Sacramento.

Sigh. Inevitable, but just duh.

In the interests of not inspiring more idiocy I will just note that I think you set some sort of record for being wrong (better), wrong(more difficult), wrong (his stats), and wrong (best ever) All in the space of 1+ paragraphs.

Don't feed wm brick or they jsut keep comming back, just ask any cat lady!

wow... and all that after one win, what will emded0341 do after 3 wins? bibby for dpoy after his one game with 2 blk, 3 steals..... and holding a back up pg to less than 20 points..... lol....

When kings win the playoffs , i think you will have to agree with me..............

And you guys think so much of webber.....the best kings team so far was the year when webber was injured and the starting linup was vlade, miller, peja, christie, bibby.

Now they are better at PF position, and wells is as good as christie. Only thing left is that these guys get to know eachother better. And it will be even better team. and yes, reef is better than s webb.

I love Reef, but I don't think he is at Webber's level .... yet.

He's a smarter player, with more of a conscience, but Webber was a top 3-4 PF in the game when he was on.

I'm hoping Reef can finally come into his own, now that he has teammates. If he can produce similarly to Webber, I'll be estactic.

 That whooshing sound you hear is your credibility flying out the window.

In any case, when SAR makes Top 5 in the MVP voting, nudge me. When this team wins 60 and is favored to win the title, nudge me. Until then you're pretty much pissing in the wind.

As would we all. But its not realistic. Nor is it even the standard he should particularly be held to. He can contribute and be doing well for SAR long before he has to become a superstar.

...or maybe expressing his opinion about former and current kings player on kings message board?

Allow me to restate: looking silly and making a completely baseless claim based on evidence that goes beyond dubious. The sky is red is an "opinion". Kwame Brown will win more titles for the Lakers than Shaq is an opinion. What they lack is any particular grounding to even make them interesting.

I, however, was nice enough to give him some benchmarks that he can get back to me with.
