if we had these as our home and away jerseys, i would be a happy man. first, the denim on the sides has to go, just make it purple, and the print on the away jerseys would have to be white too, and have purple down the sides

If I got you guys,that white jersey is alternate right?Since it has no purple colour it can't be home jersey.
 
Those denim jerseys are disgusting, you think gold is bad, just imagine what people would say if we had denim on our jerseys...good god!

I totally disagree. I think the white "swingman" jerseys are a breath of fresh air compared to the puke/bile colored goldies. I'm with Jon E.
 
I have no problem with a black road jersey per se, but not one highlighting (or low lighting) drab gray with zero team purple colors. Looks fit for a funeral - bad omen! And the white jersey is not much if any improvement over existing Kings home jersey. Thumbs down on both of these bad jokes for me since it just looks like more silly Maloof $ports Entertainment marketing ploy.
 
Those demin ones are just out there for the money. I've seen other teams jerseys with denim in the stores since last year. I've also seen solid black for various teams also. Just another money grab by the league.
 
I haven't seen any kind of press release to indicate these are, in fact, new TEAM jerseys. They are most likely, as mentioned above, just marketing ploys for people who can't leave well enough alone... Rather like the PINK Kings jerseys for girls. I'm pretty sure we aren't going to see the Kings prance out in pink this season, either.

(And if that last statement proves to be false I'm going to have to do something drastic... I'm not sure what, but having the team actually wear pink would be the last straw. I'm going to start stockpiling pitchforks and torches just in case.)

the denim jerseay has been out for a while...but it would be pretty awesome if it was the same colors just without the denim.
 
these jerseys r for fashion sake only, including the black n white ones. I'm guessing everyone here knew that n didn't really think the kings would be found in either of these jerseys anytime soon.

Fashion sake? Not exactly. It's much more simple. Those jerseys are for $$$ - some fans will buy any jersey style as long as their favorite player or team is represented. It's the whole marketing strategy they used to come up with the idea of alternate jerseys in the first place.

Well VF, your take is the cynical (and definitely the realistic one), but I must say that the white jerseys are actually seriously good looking and I wouldn't complain in the least if they traded out that denim for purple and turned these into the everyday home jerseys. If we do well this year or simply tank, at least we'd look good doing it. At the very least the NBA just got my $60 bucks.

If you swapped the denim out for purple this is what you get with black trim rather than gold, why dont u just buy one of these?
