High scores all over, too -
@El Paljasso and @CVKingsfan both nailed the 3-point margin,
but @El Paljasso did a better job at predicting the low scores,
and took it home with 76 pts, to @CVKingsfan's 72 pts in 2nd.
@origkds (67), @Telemachus (64), @LoungeLizard (63), @Capt. Factorial (61) and @New Era (60)
all scored in the 60s.

* And it's a cruel thing that @bubulina went missing tonight, just when his/her constant
prediction of a 111-99 win by the Kings would have yielded a strong result (56)... :(

@eMBarkat10n dropped 3 spots to 7th, replaced in the 4th place by @LoungeLizard,
who climbed 2 spots to get there, while @Telemachus and @El Paljasso both climbed
one spot upwards, to the 6th and the 9th place, respectively,
and @chief bromden dropped 1 spot, to the 10th.

Nice to see that the abnoxious "flatliner" in the outside lane is within reach again. :D
It's only one-prediction-worth (43 points) away from our leader, @New Era.

How well are we predicting, on average?

Well, we're inconsistent in quality, that's for sure...
We had one game where our average prediction was off the actual margin by 47.5 points!... :rolleyes: (ATL, game 14)
...and we had a game where the (rounded) wisdom of the crowd predicted the exact margin :cool: (CHI, game 53)

The good news is... we seem to get better at it, lately... ;)
In the last 3 games we were:
  • Only 3 points off
  • Only 1.4 points off
  • Only 0.75 points off! (tonight!)

This may be a tough loss (a positive Lin?), and Fox's back may be an issue to worry about, but...
Hey, we just had our 3rd 90-pointer prediction of the season!!
(And by WE I mean ME... :D)

As it always works, that required nailing the margin exactly and missing each team's score by a single point.

@New Era (67), @YoungBlood (60), and @LoungeLizard (58) were the next highest scorers.

Of the 2 die-hard W-predictors, @El Paljasso nailed the Kings's score to get 15.

Oh, by all means - I keep record of those too!

You are currently boasting quite an impressive 7-game "losing" streak of incorrect predictions
(In the 9 games spanning from game 57 until now, with two timely no-shows just when we won... :p).

However, you are still 1 game shy of the longest streak this season (8 games), "achieved" by @El Paljasso in the first 9 games of the season (Also managing to skip the single W we had in this span :D)
 
That's a tough one to call, IMHO...

I can see anything happenning,
from a 10-point L to a 25-point W...
