never new we held rights to Dejan Bodiroga...

he's REALLY good, imo. or at least he was. he's a lot of fun to watch, and he's one of my fave european players. but from what i heard on one of the olympics broadcasts, he opted to stay in europe instead of trying it out in the nba. i'm not sure if i heard right, though.

Dejan was the big fish in the small pond, who never took the Kings up on their offer when he was at the top of his game. He is still good, could probaly still play well at the NBA leval but it is highly unlikely that at this point in his career he will opt to play in the US, and if he did the question remains weather or not after all this time he could adapet his game to NBA style of play.

I still submit that would be awesome for him to come over and be the final piece for us to win it all. Not likely anymore.

Bodiroga is way past his prime and the Kings are far from being contenders, with or without him.

That story is done. Kings and the NBA missed compleately on a great player.
Bodiroga missed a chance to showcase his class where it matters most (after playing for national team which is above all anyway).
