Nets @ Kings Game Thread

Maybe scratch all that talk of trading Bibby. The combination of Bibbs and Beno may be as good as it get at the PG. And maybe Artest should stay as well unless something REALLY good comes back in a trade. Could be I'm just blinded by the style of run gun and defend I'm seeing...

well.. i think he was thinking more of a bibby/jackson idea with the bibby/beno idea. not that they would always be in, kevin still needs to be the focus point of the offense

I did not know that the Kings are only 4 losses out of the playoffs. That really puts things in perspective. I think we play Golden State 3 more times and the Rockets twice more. Thos are the key games.

i think thats what they meant, but the idea of Beno and Bibby on the floor at the same time could be fun vs smaller teams.

7 Kings in double figure scoring so far. If Salmons hadn't gone out in the early first quarter it would probably be 8 by now. Overall Kings stats burying the hapless Nets are giddy to say the least.

Reminded once again why Spencer is next to last on the bench sitting beside Justin. Nice kids but with a helluva lot to learn. The best was when Hawes got the final possession with 4.1 seconds and instead of just holding the ball to the horn dropped it towards ref Violet Palmer with about 2 seconds left. She jumped away from it as it rolled slowly out of bounds and the game clock expired.

Okay Kings - quickly to the airport for a late flight to LA and meeting with the down and out Clips tomorrow.

well the nets sucked tonight, but the kings played very very well...

it was nice too cuz it was one of the very rare occasions I got to watch a kings game live here =), they always show games with teams with stars in em and of course the milwaukee bucks (because of andrew bogut being aussie).

loved the unselfish basketball tonight and of course the 3 point shooting =) very very fun to watch! and sure we let in the occasional easy layup, but for most the kings did their best to not allow any easy shots in the paint.

thought cisco had a nice game, and it was pretty controlled, except for that trademark drive he does which usually ends up being a offensive foul (although i didnt think that was a charge). bibby was on fire and made a few nice passes and beno was great of the bench.

hope salmons is alright, but altough he didnt come back it was probably just precaution, because the replay they showed when john hit the screen didnt look that bad.

all in all a nice team effort and an awesome game to watch!!!
