Fun with Cut and Paste :

"I knew the game was over when Rudy Gobert hit that turn around fadeaway buzzer beater. Man absorbed Jokic's powers like the Monstars"

"Aaron Gordon is my favorite player in Denver but bro... You can't have only 4 points in 42 minutes man.. Congrats to wolves, great game"

"Me: "This was a tale of 2 halves. My niece (5): "Was Denver the have nots???"- Got me cracking up for some reason"

"jokic just wants to go see his horses thats all"

"The Nuggets went down, and they did it the Celtics way, by choking a 20 pts lead in the 3rd Qtr. Woow denver celtics."

"NIKOLA "THE JOKE" CHOKIC"

MPJ was too one dimensional. The second his 3pt shots down fall, his effectiveness is out of the window.

Denver lost because their role players didn’t show up between MPJ, Gordon, and KCP.
Yes, And..........., the Twolves players did while Edwards did not. That was more impressive. Edwards was forcing shots and it was looking bleak. Luckily his teammates showed up.like Chuck said.

got a chance to finish up this one. whoo what a finish for the Wolves and that's without Edwards really delivering much offensively but that defense was hounding Murray all game long. The magical run continues, lets do this!

The Nuggets didn't choke or collapse, they got beat. By a team that is deep and plays fast and plays defense like no other.

The Nuggets offense in the second half became 2 dimensional. The Wolves made Murray and Jokic uncomfortable after there were cruising along in the first half. Denver does not have much of a bench. Jokic played nearly the whole game. For a guy that big playing at a fast pace was too much to ask. He started throwing up threes and not making them. That played right into the Wolves' paws.

Great team defense by Minn. Edwards had an off shooting night but still played defense. His supporting cast was really good. Reid off the bench was amazing to watch. The difference in the benches of the two teams was stark. Denver got 37 points in the second half. Wow.
Defense wins championships. Believe it.

So Ordinary That It's Truly Quite Extraordinary

Seeing how these Western Conference playoffs have played out I believe there is more parity than there has ever been in a long time. There really wasn’t THAT big of a difference 1-10. Not like years past where there was clearly one or two teams that you knew were coming out. When we lost to the Pelicans for the 47th time in a row to knock us out I was feeling like we were pretty far away. Don’t get me wrong, our roster still needs upgrades (Barnes and Huerter, rim protection) but watching the Wolves and Mavs advance to the Finals, (both teams we fared well against) has me feeling a little more optimistic we could see a similar run if things fall into place.
It really is largely about matchups and we were good enough to compete with some of the "top" teams while being pathetic against NOP and some other teams that aren't really considered contenders. Clearly we need to address what lead us to blow many leads and I would like to see Barnes upgraded with a rim protector but to a certain other degree what largely changed between 22/23 and 23/24 was playstyle and a focus on shooting more 3s. I don't like it on principle and I hated the result. But I think we're a good team with a path forward.

Felt like I was watching the Kings in the second half of that game!

Nuggets offense devolved into bricked 3 after bricked 3, while they got out hustled on the other end by the Wolves.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: I really wish we had a player like Reid! Swap Barnes for him and we're at least making the semis.

like Brown said in a past presser, defense travels when offense doesn't
