Really hard to believe that Morey wasn’t willing to trade him for Harden

You mean for a guy that hasn’t won anything either?

The closest he’s come was as 3rd wheel in OKC. Then with CP3 leading the way.

If he is ever part of a winner, it won’t be with him leading the way.

I’d much rather have Simmons. With the right supporting cast, his style of play on both ends is far more conducive to winning.

The issue here lies with Simmons being the second banana when really he should be a super role player but he isn't getting paid like one

That 4/14 from the FT line was very conducive to winning.

Feels like Bojan starting off shooting like a cyborg may actually hurt the Jazz in the long run to start this game.

Jazz shooting 72% for the quarter still only lead the Clippers led by the big three of Paul George/Marcus Morris/Reggie Jackson by 1.

In this case at least Philly needed somebody who wanted to take a big shot in the fourth quarter. They all looked like deer in the headlights, even Embiid who really shouldn't at this point in his career. I only watched the 4th quarter of this one because my buddy texted me that Okongwu was leading a bench comeback and the Sixers made Atlanta look like a defensive force out there. Simmons is valuable for other reasons. He's got teammates who can score but one of them needs to step up if they're going to get out of this series.

Lmao that was the weakest double T I’ve ever seen… and there’s been some pretty weak double Ts over the years.

I grant you that. Philly tanked more than ATL did anything to win the game. They went the final 4:23 w/o scoring sans Curry’s buzzer shot.

They had nobody to step up (though it is hard to fault Seth Curry). I still favor a team approach like the KINGS had during their elite level era and even the Warriors had before KD ended up there, rather than a single player.

Regardless, when it comes to having a clutch “go to” player there are a lot of players I’d rather have before the Bearded Hag. He’s never led a team anywhere as a #1 and never will.

Philly would have been infinitely better off trading for a player like Chris Paul.

Hasn't won anything? Are you Stugotz? He's won everything, except for an NBA championship.

Jesus... Mans got me out here caping for James Harden. I ought to ban you, on principle.

In a team sport, I didn’t realize there was anything important to be won other than an NBA Championship.

Oh wait, there isn’t.

The bearded hag is the most overrated player of this generation. Not only can the guy not do anything by the long standing rules of player movement, he doesn’t play a winning style of basketball. Never has, never will.

If NJ wins this season, it’ll be because KD and Kyrie led the way and, again, the Bearded Hag was the 3rd wheel.
