NBA Playoffs, Round Two

Watching the teams still in the playoffs does nothing but reinforce the fact that you better have size and some level of defense on the wing. Otherwise you're just kidding yourself. I see no 4 G lineups with the tallest being 6'4" beaten to a pulp by other teams, lol.

Luke Walton’s offenses at lease have some semblance of structure, even if that structure is dumbass horns sets from the top of the key featuring our bigs.
These Clippers offensive possessions have no rhyme or reason.

So could we have a Jazz/Nets finals? The well oiled machine vs one of the most talented trios (on paper) ever assembled. Would be awesome if the Jazz could pull it off and win one for the non glamorous cities in the NBA.

also maybe this was mentioned earlier but it was awesome to see the crowd in Milwaukee. NBA just isn’t the same without a packed house of crazy fans.

Lue is horrible and only one letter away from Luke, coincidence? I think not! Kawhi and PG don't have the attitude to put him in his place like LeBron will with a mediocre coach. I will say though, it's scary how similar bad coaches are. You could literally start a support group for players burnt to a crisp late in games by their coach. Fox, PG13, and Harrison Barnes will be the first sign ups, haha.

I hope the Jazz don't panic. They have a once in a lifetime chance to make the finals since the off year LeBron decided to show up and brought along his buddy injury prone AD with him. Long series and comebacks fit into the personality types of Kawhi and PG13 though. The question is will they wear down first.

my hope is the Nets get worn down by Giannis and likely Embiid before a potential Jazz match up

these semis have been really disappointing thus far....Utah and LA provided some good action in Game 2 but it took until the second half. also a low scoring game between the two best offensive teams in the last outing, but other than that...most of these games have been underwhelming.

Nuggets really gonna get Malone fired after he turned Joker into the MVP, aren’t they?
Knowing how much Malone cares about toughness and defense it has to hurt him to watch Jokic getting burned that bad on switches and pick and roll since the modern defensive rules are pure garbage for anyone that's not athletic and a wing since the big is the one suffering the result of them not being able to put up some resistance defensively heading into screens. The Nuggets really need to think about their future and look to the Mavs with Dirk. If they build the exact, right team around Jokic like the Mavs did around Dirk that one year, he might be able to squeeze out a shot at a ring too. Not having Murray has to factor into his evaluation though. The problems still exist however because Murray guarding your front door and Jokic guarding the back door is sketchy. If these playoffs hold true then the value on non-athletic skill bigs is dropping precipitously.

And if the Nets slide right to a ring what does that say about the league? There was already some article from the GM standpoint about how the players have too much control. Harden pouted his way right to the only team he was wanting to go to and the Rockets really didn't get ****. Sure, the NBA isn't a sport, it's entertainment and a business, but this is getting out of hand. The Suns could be the best matchup on paper to the Nets in a finals showdown. They have the physical wings, length, and a decent pnr combo with Paul/Booker and Ayton to put up a fight against the Nets.

Nets would win in 5, either way, Utah or Phoenix, doesn't really matter as far as I'm concerned. Nets are better off saving Harden until the NBA Finals.
