They called 9 fouls on the Bucks in the first half and 13 on the Hawks. You say they are "clearly calling every little touch foul they can on the Bucks". That to me sounds like at least 5 of their 9 fouls were little touch fouls. They only committed 4 real fouls in the first half. The question is why the NBA and the refs want to do them like that? Obviously all 13 of the Hawks fouls were real fouls.

If Giannis is out the rest of the series, you see the Hawks look like the better team with Williams - they don't have nearly the fall-off from Young to Williams that the Bucks have without Giannis. The Hawks in their losses play pathetic defense, but then go bonkers offensively in their wins.

even prior to Giannis' injury this Bucks team is all out of sorts from game to game. if they are hitting their threes their in it, otherwise its brutal to watch. too much star power going down or missing action this postseason

Yep, this might be a full on asterisk year. The thing to worry about now is teams that are already good or the few elites piling up even more ring chasers to make up for pretty much all the true contenders getting wiped out by injuries at the same time this year.
