A more judicious use of Cousins could pay dividends for the Clippers: he's not a match for Ayton, at this stage of his career. And frankly, he's going to give you diminishing returns, the longer he's out there... But he's more than a match for Saric, and he can still be productive in short spurts. Whenever Coach Williams gives Ayton a breather, Ty Lue should be looking down the bench at Cousins, like, "Alright, big fella, I need the best two minutes you can give me!"

They gotta bring Morris back. Cousins has played great, but he's blown. They keep him in much longer, and he's going to give back everything he's given them tonight, on the other end.

EDIT - At the very least, Lue has to put George and Beverly back in: right now, Cousins is the second-best defender on the floor for the Clippers, after Batum, and that's a recipe for disaster.

I feel like Chris Paul hasn't managed this game well ... Booker had it going and they were going on a run and Paul decided to slow things down and Booker didn't get the ball for a few possessions.

I feel bad for the clippers. They were a last second dunk from being up 3-2. Instead they have a big hurdle to get past. Winning 3 in a row is hard against any team let alone the suns.

To be fair to PG, I don’t think he has ever returned to the player he was prior to that horrific injury. He’s made a phenomenal recovery on the whole, but he’s not where he was and where he was going.

Still a good player, just not a great one. IMO he was on the path to being great pre-injury.
Ahem.

Perhaps I sold PG a little short. He was great tonight when they needed him most.

It goes to show how close these series generally are.

GM4 could have gone either way too. Instead of being down 3-2 they could have won the series 4-1 had a couple plays turned out differently.

Ya kidding? Big brain Ty Lue and the Clip Crew have the Suns riiiiiiiight where they want em.
Honestly, this is a very underrated performance in this series from the Clips considering Kawhi hasn’t played one second of it.

LAC were one play away from one win and had many chances in GM4 in which both teams played poorly.

If they somehow get GM6 at home, I like their chances in GM7.
