Monty Williams about to give CP3 COVID again just to go back to game 1 style ball.
I don't know about all that, but I tell you what: say whatever you want about the "weak" east, the next time Doncic leads his team past an opponent as good as the 76ers in a playoff series will be the first time.
They're also at least built to withstand the minutes where Trae is resting as opposed to the Mavs, who immediately turn into a nuclear waste dump the second Luka comes out of the game.
clown talk
Lebron win it for us -> kawhi win it for us -> PG win it for us. Genius
this was the Bucks I was expecting Game 1
Trae is having a rough one. 0-5 for three, 7 TO and 2 AST.
But in general too many turnovers for Hawks.
Bucks playing defense like they have some pride, unlike Game 1

Sure, they are playing much better defense which is contributing to this, but Knicks/Philly played some great D but they did not produce 8 TOs out of Young in a half. Atlanta could still do better even with this defense.
That’s what chuckers do.
Ended up with 8 TO’s at the half.
Funny, Trae gets all the media attention and praise for scoring 48 on 34 shots despite the Hawks having to win despite him the final 5 minutes but when they’re down 30 at the half tonight the announcing team didn’t focus on the 8 turnovers and 0-6 with the same tenacity. Go figure.
That’s one of many things I so dislike about the NBA today. The invention of stars and the overhyping of them.
Young had a good game on the whole in GM1, but was 4-13 from 3 and struggled the last half of Q4.
During the stretch where ATL got down 7 late, Young was 1-5 from the floor which included 3 shots from beyond 28 feet that he missed. And he was super fortunate to get bailed out on some highly questionable touch fouls.
If De’Aaron Fox got calls like that he’d average over 30 a game too.
Honestly, I think Trae Young could be a much more efficient player if he wasn’t trying to be Steph Curry and was more selective on his 3’s. He doesn’t shoot a good enough percentage to keep chucking so many 3’s from so deep.
Out of curiosity, who do you think "belongs" in the Eastern Conference Finals?I'd like to think that Bucks will show the NBA fans that the Hawks do not belong in the ECF

Yeah De'Aaron is so great that if he got calls like other random guys in the NBA he would average 100 points. Also if his teammates were as good as other average NBA players he would average 50 assists a game. De'Aaron misses free throws on purpose to give other teams a chance lol.
I mean Trae is such a scrub, he's only doing well because the NBA clearly conspired since 2020 that they wanted a star in fan-favorite money-making mass market Atlanta. Heck, Robert Woodard would lead the Hawks to the ECF if he got calls like Trae. Papa G would lead the Pistons to the championship if he got calls like Trae.
