NBA: Kings got away with 2 violations while running down clock in win over Pacers (video)

Is this really so interesting to warrant such a long article? I will bet if any writer was motivated, he could find problems with every game. Refs can't see everything so what do we do? Do we add another ref or two or just accept the fact that mistakes will be made?

That's basketball NBA style, folks.

Not this again??? What is with the media reporting how the Kings get calls?

If the ref determined that Cousins was in the act of shooting the ball when he moved both feet, then it's not traveling. He doesn't have to put the ball on the floor. No different than if he gets the ball under the basket and turns to lay it in. That aside, you could critique just about any game and find missed calls. I could look at film of previous Kings games and point out non calls that helped the other team. It's not an exact science.

I've felt for a long time that the game had a better flow when we only had two refs. Just my opinion!

Good lord....who so much anger? It's Christmas! The league is a lot more transparent than ever now. Isn't this a good thing? You can find these reports on any games that were close down the stretch (I think 1o points or less).

I don't really see the point in these types of things. Why is there so much emphasis on the blown calls in the last few minutes? Those blown calls are just as important in the outcome of the game as all the blown calls prior to the final few minutes. It just seems pointless if you are going to point out just a select few within the entirety of the game.

Is this a frickin joke?
Who else has EVER gotten an article and video links to try to illustrate such weak-ass complaints before?

They are saying Demarcus illegally held Hill's arms from properly contesting an entry pass?

Seriously?!

Well, if they're going to point out that contact as an offensive foul, then you would foul out every single big man out of every game before halftime, because they have to use their body to aid them from stopping the ridiculously-aggressive defenses that tug, poke, grab, slap, push, and flop during entry passes nowadays.

How is the sport of basketball served by disallowing a big man from even extending his arm to gain position for an entry pass?
It would remove all paint/post play from the entire game, and reduce it even more to penetration.

And those little steps are in almost every minute of every game, and is almost never called. Hell, doesn't Shaq isolate these issues during Shaqtin A Fool regularly? He's illustrated seven steps being taken before without the whiff of a whistle.

To make this article more inappropriate, what would have likely happened if the Pacers had gotten the ball back 10 seconds earlier?
They would have dribbled down the clock, and Rondo would have fouled at the same time and the game would have resolved the same way, likely.

I had one of these put me up a tree when I was a kid. Kind of funny now. I was out squirrel hunting with my trusty 22 rifle, when I came fact to face with a badger. I dropped my rifle and climbed a tree, hoping that it couldn't climb a tree. It didn't, and after what seemed like an eternity, it move on. What ever way it went, I went the opposite way. As stated in the movie, "The Great Race", "Sometimes its best to run away, and live to fight another day".

The NBA didn't apologize for either of these no-calls. I realize they don't exactly fit the criteria for review but both were far more embarrassing and blatant than anything from the Kings game, if they're so worried about being transparent.

But nobody illustrates how many blown calls we get that's supposed to go our way on a nightly basis

Even if you were stupid enough to believe that Hollins didn't tip it, Lee easily held the ball over .3 seconds. Officially reviewed. Officially ****ed over.

The Kings are hated on more than any other team in the league and it's not even close.

Yes... I can't even understand why somebody would want to check those two calls/no-calls which had more or less zero impact on the result
