I see some mocks are now predicting Zikarsky. Wouldn't mind it. There's definitely room for a project on the Kings right now. The potential is there for sure.

Everything prior to Perry is irrelevant to Perry as far as I am concerned. Perry shouldn't be judged by McNair's past actions, nor by the fears and worries that McNair has engendered in the fan base. If I judge Perry, it's going to be done strictly on the actions of Perry. That's it.

Let's look at his sole action so far. First, he traded up in the draft. He was willing to put some draft capital on the line and his neck in order to do so. Second, he traded with OKC. He wasn't afraid to deal with a team within the Division nor with Presti, one of the better GMs in the game. Third, at least so far, the overall team has gotten younger; he didn't trade off the pick to get older. Lastly, Perry picked the kind of guy that is in line with his emphasis on toughness and defense. All of the above is positive, imo. One step at a time. We will just have to wait and see what he does with his next actions and leave our Kings' baggage in the rear view mirror.

Almost true. I have very little McNair related fears or worries. The guy I'm worried about is Vivek and he's still here. And we have had Scott Perry related history before... he was part of the front office that drafted Fox, Justin Jackson, and Harry Giles then signed Vince Carter, Zach Randolph, and George Hill as free agents. I think all of that is relevant information. The only one of those moves that worked out was drafting Fox (well, it worked for a while anyway).
