NBA Draft 2025 Open Thread

Yeah but the alternative is what we've been hearing. MLE 30 year old PG's and transitioning lateral moves to win now into lateral youth moves to still not win, lol.
This is where it gets interesting. Blow it up with a MOAB? Surgically blow it up with a couple of well placed grenades? Run it back with a "point guard"? Add one or two geriatric types to DDR and Lavine for one last gasp to get into the playoffs? What is the strategy? That's what I want to know.

The problem with running it back and waiting to identify if it can work or not, it can’t, is that all the shots are going to DDR or Monk or Lavine with Domas cleaning up or getting the occasional game where they feed him because of matchups.

That means Keegan, Keon and Carter can’t grow their game. And of those 3, I’d really like to see Keegan get a chance.

One half of a season isn't killing their potential. If the Kings are even a .500 level team once the season gets going they need to just bite the bullet. Isn't this all about rings after all?

Here we go, folks! "D-Day" is finally upon us! I won't be active on here until later in the evening (post-draft), as my laptop is at one end of the house, while the television is on the other end.

Here's to being a disappointed Kings fan over the next handful of hours, because, well, you know...
What else are we supposed to be doing during this time??? :p:p:p

I gotta be honest, I'm not a transaction geek, and I don't pay attention to college ball, so the draft isn't really relevant to my interests. If the mod staff weren't short-handed for covering this thread tonight, I'd be doing something else.
Taking one for the team, I see. So far, not a single important trade today in the NBA, with eight minutes to go, and not a single player personnel move of any kind from Scott Perry since he was hired. Boring.
