I definitely got the feeling that last years draft was deeper into the teens. This year it's so so guards or dump off bigs. In a way it's probably a deeper 2nd round. The 2nd round last year was bleh, but this year 20-50 is a crap shoot.

Everyone was so hyped on Flagg they didn't bother to look down the depth chart.

Yeah but in most other years you can at least sorta squint and see a potential star. This year it’s like “can Ace Bailey not be inefficient for once?” And that’s it.

Yeah but most of us thought guys like DeAndre Ayton and Zion Williamson were going to be superstars and they're not. There may not be as many high upside guys this year as most draft years, but it's not like that's ever a guarantee of success anyway.

Zion if healthy isn't getting squashed anywhere. A lot of these guys better be going to the right team, a lot of them just don't have the overall game or athletic upside.

I was never hyped on Zion, he seemed so manufactured after two huge draft classes in 2017 and 2018 they needed to make a superstar.

Ayton still surprises me how lackluster he has been, when VJ was picked and they say "Bahamas" I was like oh boy, Buddy and Ayton...

This is pretty much the dream trade of former poster Kb02. I wasted way too much of my time 2 years ago reading his posts about how the Kings messed up by not keeping picks that became Hardy and Prosper. He had them pegged as a couple future starters. Guessing Dallas doesn't agree... Lol

I know you can’t make a judgement on a player over a single game, but I knew Ayton’s reputation of being a little lazy and then saw him get absolutely out hustled by Willie Cauley Stein of all people for one game … I was out on Ayton right there. Lol
