Jazz shot 15-31 from 3 after being 31%-team from outside the the arc after 3 games. If they shot 9-31, they lose. Despite being a machine Spurs definitely have weaknesses

Memphis kept their 2 max contracts on the bench and got blown out. Doesn't look like they are going far this season. Neither do Pels.

On another note, Pistons are more than holding the fort without Jackson.

I just don't understand Utah. They have underachieved the last 2 seasons and haven't made the playoffs yet with that roster and yet everyone considers them a lock? I don't see them as a 4 seed.
I am not sure it is fair to say that they underachieved. They were very close to making the playoffs for each of the last 2 years despite having a very young team with perhaps that worst point gaurd play of any team in the league and many of our key players being injured for large stretches of the season. We added really solid, veteran roll players in Hill, Johnson and Diaw. The kind of veteran players that know how to close out games. We get Alec Burks and Dante Exum who missed almost all of last year and all of last year. Add to that a really good coach and we are all pretty excited here in Utah.

big shout out to Utah for a quality road win in San Antonio. I expected more out of the Blazers versus the Dubs, they compete better than that at home usually. Lots of high scoring ball games today.

Bledsoe with the buzzer beater, Utah wins again, holding their opponents to a stifling PPG. Westbrook beats the Clippers, kudos.

At this rate, the Pelicans might not win this year.

And the Mavericks might be worse than them.

TJ Warren has been on FIRE for the Suns and the Thunder just scrap like crazy I really like the move they made for Grant and it frees up time for Jofferey who is fairly decent/athletic big man.

Thunder front office are always making those underrated, but solid moves that helps move their team forward in a positive direction.

Lakers beat gs by 20 after beating atl on the road. I use to hang my hat on the fact we weren't the worst team in California. :(

Trivia for the day...DeMar DeRozan is the first player since M. Jordan in 1986 to score at least 30 in each of his team's first five games.

Tyson Chandler with 3 18 rebound games to start the season looks like he's adopted the Reggie Evans/KLove strategy where he doesn't defend anymore or contest shots anywhere but just rebounds.

Is it wrong that I was a little bit happy to see the Lakers win tonight? The Warriors have become the new Lakers.
Speak for yourself. The Warriors may be #2, with a bullet, but the gd lakers will always be most hated with me, because my hatred of the gd lakers is not dependent on their personnel, or their system. It's dependent on location and laundry.

Lakers look better team than us tbh. High ceiling talent in Russell, Randle, Ingram. Good role players in Williams, Deng Mozgov. Two good young potential starters in Nance Jr. and Clarkson. They look like a young hungry team, we have looked like an old team that doesnt know how to win.

Lakers beat the Hawks on the road then thrash the Lakers? At this rate, Lakers will be in the playoffs before the Kings. Plus, they have a nice, young roster.
