Yeah, except this time, they lost by a lot, and then came back the next night, and lost by a lot again; Golden State had them nearly doubled up (98-52, IIRC) after three quarters.

I don't know where to post it, or if it's already been posted, but it's fun... Watch DMC here:
Stoned? I took it more as stage fright.nice touch for them to have boogie as the extremely relaxed, hyper-intelligent guy. kinda counteracts the angry/dumb narrative the media likes to spin. though he does seem a bit stoned, if you ask me.
(P.S.: this thing still is 3:42 of cringe. needed a third attempt to get through it)
anybody else interested in some Rob Kurz updates? or how about some news from Kevin Pittsnoggle? maybe even a clip of Scott Pollard's newest "film"? Sham has just the thing for you:

also in that article: Javaris Crittenton (best known for the infamous Wizards locker room gun incident with Glbert Arenas) was arrested for the possession of 400kg (!!!) of cocaine, whilst awaiting a murder trial and Troy Hudson is now part of "the Sswag Movement" (stop Satan's work against god).
How stupid can someone be? It boggles the mind. He could have been set up for life with an NBA career if he had even 10% of the intelligence of a normal person. Now it looks like he's going to be put away for a long, long time. What a complete idiot.
All true, but I don't think that puts him on Mt. Rushmore; others have been better. Mikan was the first dominant basketball player. I'd have Bil Russell (despite what he said at the All Star game), Oscar Robertson, and Michael Jordan; not sure about the 4th, leaning toward Wilt Chamberlain.Whenever people start debating about who should be on basketball's "Mount Rushmore," why does everyone forget about Mikan? Wasn't he basketball's first superstar? Wasn't he, basically, the reason for the NBL/BAA merger? Didn't he pretty much carry the league until Cousy, Russell and Petit came along?
No one roots for Goliath. Wilt blew away every record known to basketball and that is ignored. It gives some understanding to the feelings about Cousins. If he wasn't so darn big and dominating, he would be rated higher as a basketball player. For some reason a basketball player gets downgraded because he is tall and in Cousins case, because he is strong. I am not voting for Shaq on the basketball Mt Rushmore but it is a curiosity that although he dominated every center on the court with him, he is not respected to the level this particular reality should give him. Why in basketball does being big seem to subtract from your achievements?
There have been guys where the rules of basketball have changed. Mikan changed the width of the paint and blah, blah, blah.
Because Shaq's size and athleticism were not of his own doing.
On another note, watching the Spurs play just makes me sad. 8 passes and no dribbles leading to an open lay-in in the space of ten seconds. Purposeful movement away from the ball and ball movement.

well, the whole crux of the matter is that there's no comparing all those guys. we're not just talking about different eras, we're talking about completely different games, if you get right down to it. there's no telling how one player would've done in another era. rules have changed, perceptions of the game have changed, training has changed, logistics have changed, and so on and so forth. it simply doesn't translate, which is why I find the whole idea of doing these kinds of historical comparisons ridiculous.
