So Ordinary That It's Truly Quite Extraordinary

I lost my marbles when I saw that picture last night. How could someone at least not hit that with a steamer. Embarrassing.

also Derek Guy breaking down noblesse oblige and menswear 2-3 days ago is must read if you're sartorially inclined but not particularly appropriate to chat about here since it does involve politics.

found out during the Philly broadcast that Lowry is entering year 19, props to you Kyle. He looks and moves like he could still play a few more seasons.

Watched a good bit of the Indy/DET game and I actually liked a lot of what I saw from DET. They're not going to be the same pushover this season. If they had any semblance of shooting, I'd buy into them pushing for a play-in spot, but man literally all their "spacers" are incredibly volatile shooters themselves.

Sorta felt like the Pistons were trying to run something similar to what the Mavs run for Luka/Kyrie except the thing that makes that work as well as it does (aside from Luka being really really really good) is that both of those guys are great offball threats whereas teams will actively scheme ways to have Cade and Ivey take as many spot-up shots as they can thanks to how bad they are at shooting. Also not sure how the spacing will work out once Ausar gets back and they’re presumably going to ask Tobias Harris to be the one guy in their starting lineup willing to hit a three (they’re always welcome to trade Ausar to the Kings for Kevin Huerter to fix their spacing though)

I mean, their spacing sucks and it's only going to get worse with Ausar. But there's clearly good talent there, especially on defense with Holland in town now as well. His shot looks..not good, but had some nice defensive moments and he plays hard out there.

Unironically, Huerter would be perfect on that team. They need a starting caliber player capable of 7+ 3pa per game. Beasley and THJ just aren't that anymore
