NBA.COM - New Mid-Level Exception .. lockout almost over?

http://www.nba.com/2011/news/features/david_aldridge/10/10/encouraging-sign/index.html

David Aldridge reporting that the new rules for the mid-level exception are just about done. Has to be good news, right? The proposal will reportedly lower the amount that teams over the cap can offer to players.

This will also help a team like the Kings big time.... If Miami doesnt have much of a mid-level exception to offer Dalembert ... we may be able to keep him.

... The NBA is talking about how they might be able to come up with a scenario where they don't cancel games, but they postpone them instead. Am I the only one who thinks that makes zero sense? Think about all the hockey games and concerts and events that have already been scheduled around the NBA's schedule. These idiots need to come up with an agreement already.

if it's even 2 weeks of games, it's just not going to be possible across the board. I think they've scraped that idea already.
