The Off the Court forum can be that place. As new threads about the groundbreaking, etc. come to pass, all the old stuff will drop back into the distance but will still be available as a historical archive. It might be interesting for future Kings fans who might grow up without the sword of Damacles hanging over their head to use when we old-timers talk about the dark times.

Especially since the "dark times" went on for years and years. I recently went to the very last (oldest) page in the OFF THE COURT forum, which dates to 2005. I've only been perusing these forums for a couple of years now, so I got a kick out of reading some of the old threads with discussions about various failed arena attempts, relocation rumors (including Anaheim), rumblings about mistrust of the Maloofs intentions. Eight years ago! There's no point in revisitng all that stuff now, except to perhaps gain a greater appreciation of how bad it was and how wonderful it is now with new owners and a new arena finally on the horizon.
