National TV This Season?

So, with the Kings on a hot streak with two of the best rookies in the game (one of whom could very well be rookie of the year), a second year PF who is playing like an all-star, and playing a gritty and exciting brand of hoops, how long until the Kings land back on a nationally televised game? (other than NBATV)

I would think a game involving a tough Kings team vs. any of your playoff-level teams would make for good TV because if the Kings keep playing like they are playing now, win or lose, the Kings will compete and give teams a challenge with hustle, rebounding, and defense.

Thoughts?

The schedule is already set. Not sure if there is anything that can be done this season. (ESPN and TNT might be kicking themselves) Can almost guarantee that if 'Reke continues what he is doing, Kings will be on national TV at least a few times next year.

I'm pretty sure both espn and tnt add and subtract games throughout the season. They don't do it on a regular basis, but if the kings keep playing well, there is a chance we could end up on espn or tnt for a game or two towards the end of the sesason. If you're hoping for more than that, next year will be the earliest.

The national broadcasters have changed before, so we could potentially get swapped in for one or two games.

We'll have some National TV games coming up on the calendar. Just wait till May.
Um...let's not get too far ahead and start putting aside playoff money just yet...it's an incredible longshot this year, we'd have to win close to 50 games in the West, and THAT I doubt very seriously will be happening. Now NEXT year on the other hand you never know...

The lack of national TV coverage really annoys me as an east coast fan. To be honest, I've yet to actually see the Kings play at all this year (besides highlights of course).

Legaue pass be handy if you can afford it. Or can find somebody over at work wiht it and instantly become their newest, bestest friend. ;)

Also note if you're in Jersey the Kings have both the Nets and Knicks coming up.

And for us this season -- we could start to get a few midseason adds if we actually are still looking like a potential playoff team at that time. Or a few late season ones even if we are not but Reke is still battling it out with Jennings for ROY. Obviously nobody's rewriting their TV schedule just because we had a nice 4 game streak. We'll need to sustain, or Reke will have to be brilliant.

I feel like the national TV games are less varied than they used to be. Consider that there are 20 Cavs games left on the national TV schedule (and that's not even counting NBATV games). That's almost a third of the Cavs remaining games. I love watching the Cavs but that's insane. And don't even get me started on the Lakers.
