My first Kings game

It started with a thank you from Eddie House when i welcomed him to the Kings. thumbs up from mo evans. I told Kev good job and he came back with I appreciate it. got serveral head nods from Bibby during timeouts. But to top it all off. After the game Doug and Jackie were walking off and I yelled good game doug and threw up the famous doug hand symbol and he threw me his soaking wet sweat band emboridered with 13 and the same symbol he has tatooed on the back of his left hand. I was about 3 feet behind the players and about 8 inches from the head of security for the kings. Oh yeah with about 2 min left i told Peja "lets finish this" and he replied with an agreeing head nod to me.

I know what the kings are missing on the bench. We don't have a cheerleader. nobody on the bench jumps up and really gets into the game as they should. Kevin Martin was probably the most active. Eddie House just looked happy to be there.

That's great stuff. I remembered your post that you will attend the game and was hoping to spot a Kings fan in the crowd behind the bench, but there were just too many Kings fans out there At moments I thought that there were more Kings fans than Hawks fans.

i was the one sitting directly behind Songalia and Barnes and all of the kings during timeouts. I was wearing Bibby home jersey and my Brother in law was wearing Miller road jersey.

yes i did i am the good looking guy with the dark hair. Probably with a camera around my neck or a stuck to my face.

haha..you guys both have long sleeve shirts on...I haven't seen up close shots but I could make you guys out from the description. Honestly from the view I saw you have a resemblence to Vlade or Peja maybe.

about a foot shorter and i look way better then those 2 guys. and yes both of us had our long sleeve white kings t shirts on under our jerseys.

yeah i wasn't ecpecting it i was just giving doug the hand gesture he always does and i yelled out good game next thing i know he tossed it right in my hand. It was a clean assist and catch to i didn't even look like an idiot and drop it.

Im going to my first KINGS game on Feb 13th when they are in Boston...i can't wait...my seats aren't right smack behind the bench like yours were...but they are in the first section behind the bench....can't frickin wait...

I was going to pic up my digital camera on the way but it became impossible to navigate around atlanta at 5:00. But I did take a 35mm in case i didn't get a chance to get it. I will have to scan them and then i will showcase them for you guys. I got a lot of pics of huddles and timeouts when they were all right in my face.

Cool. Congrats! At least you had a win. We went on the Texas trio roadtrip-nuff said. It was also my(YumYum's) first Kings and NBA game PERIOD! The best part was getting to spend time with Kev off the court. Tag seems like a big goofball. I like that. Even though they didn't fare well, we still had an awesome time. Everyone is soooooo tall-except Bibby Yes, I was too lazy to log off Hoodie and log on for myself, But "he did approve this message!"
