I'm gonna go with the traditional choices based on the limited amount of non-sports TV I watched in the '90's. DISCLAIMER: (I grew up in the TGIF generation).

1. Fresh Prince of Bel Air
2. Seinfeld (Many would probably have Seinfeld #1, but I'm partial to black comedy despite not being of African American descent.)
3. Boy Meets World
4. Family Matters
5. Hangin' with Mr. Cooper

What were some of your favorite 90's sitcoms?

Can we get a list of 90's sitcoms from which to choose? Here are some I can think of:RoseanneDifferent WorldFull HouseMarried, with ChildrenThe Simpsons

With the exception of Seinfeld the sitcoms of the 90s don't hold a candle to those of the 80s and earlier.

News Radio was great until Phil Hartman's untimely death.

Sitcoms of the 90s included:

Home Improvement
Married with Children
Seinfeld
3rd Rock from the Sun
News Radio
Fresh Prince of Bel Air
Roseanne
Drew Carey
Frasier
Friends
Dave's World
Blossom
Empty Nest
Full House
Boy Meets World
Evening Shade
Sports Night
The Wonder Years
Major Dad
Wings
Family Guy
Northern Exposure

My favorites included:

News Radio
Frasier
Dave's World
Evening Shade

But not necessarily in that order.

My kneejerk reaction was to say that, if you can't remember what sitcoms came out in the 90's, you're probably not qualified to vote. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing; it might just mean that you didn't sit in front of the idiot box all night like the rest of us... Or it might mean that you're too young to have appreciated the nineties... ;)

After some thought, though... nah, I'll stick with my kneejerk reaction...

Seems like The Fresh Prince of Bel Air was a favorite for almost everybody. What a great show. My children who were babies when that show came out, watch it religiously on Nickolodeon.

Of course we all know Will Smith is a Super duperstar. What ever happen to Hillary Banks and can some one post some pictures. She was pretty hot.

Does anyone remember the short lived sitcom with Chris Peterson "Get a Life"? Wow, I couldn't believe that show got cancelled. It was hilarious.
