moving to colombia!

Been in Europe too long : ( Its cold,and expensive lol

So im going to move to Cali,Colombia too teach english in 2 weeks!!

Has anyone been and can tell me something about the area?!

I only know what the Wikipedia article says:

Umm... I imagine it's like southern Mexico - just stay out of the jungle (it's not gorillas you gotta watch out for, it's the guerrillas ), and stay away from the tap water.
