Moving On - McMillan Takes Over In Portland

Nate McMillan is no longer a Sonic. It doesn’t seem real, but late Wednesday night, the announcement was made that McMillan had accepted the head coaching position with the Portland TrailBlazers, ending a 19-year tenure as both a player and a coach.

Why? I mean, I understand that the Blazers seem to at least be trying to win, but come on! They are YEARS away from fixing their problems.

Couldn't he have gotten a more promising and safer job... say, with the Hornets
