Movie question

I have a question about a movie that I believe was made for TV. I read the book a few years back. I just got on demand so I saw the movie version and watched it.

The move is Intensity, the book was by Dean Koontz....scared the crud out of me by the way and the movie was pretty scary too. My question is that at the end it said "to be continued". There was no indication that what I was watching was a part 1 or anything. Comcast is clueless...does anybody know, did they do that to mess with the ending or is there really a part 2???

Okay thanks....it does help because it says it is 186 minutes and the one I watched is 90 minutes so I think I will keep checking on comcast, the moves change every month I believe.

I just got through with the book and loved it, didn't realise there was a movie. I'll be looking for it, thanks for the info. What channel was it on, do you remember?
I'd be very interested to see how they portrayed Vess.

Its on demand on comcast under free movies. I just got off the phone with comcast....what a bunch of idiots. They said its provided by a service so they have no info...I said I pay you every month so find out....they blew me off.......

I will just watch and hope I see the second part, although the first part doesn't say first part.

Loopy...I don't pay enough attention to names...is vess the main guy or girl???

Vess was the guy, the girl was Chyna, with the y. I don't have comcast but I'll be looking for it. Have you checked the video stores to see if they have it?
I bet the movie was scary.I loved the book although the ending really didn't close it for me, maybe the movie could.

How could I forget Chyna....they both did an excellent job, I read the book several years ago and I remember I couldn't sleep. The movie freaked out my 14 year old daughter, it was pretty funny.

I may check blockbuster, I just went to the comcast website and it shows an intensity pt.2 on demand, maybe I just have to keep watching for it.

I see intensity pt. 2 on comcasts website, now I am just not sure when it will be showing because it shows it started 10/15/05 to 1/26/06

Glad to see that I'm not the only one who has had trouble with OnDemand and has gotten no help what so ever from Comcast. I got the exact same run-around when I called. I guess because it's a free service that Comcast customers don't pay any extra fee for, they feel no need to help their customers when they call. I haven't been able to pause, stop, rewind, or fast-forward any of the programs like the service is supposed to do. At first I was able to, but then it wouldn't work anymore. Have you had the same problem with this function??

So far I can still pause and ff and rewind, is your remote working okay?

It ticks me off that they keep touting this service to get you to go to digital, they they won't help with it at all, I got more help off of their website.

It's not a problem with my remote. When I called customer service, I was told that other customers were also having the same problem, and that it was going to be fixed, but being that another company handles OnDemand, Comcast had no idea when this would happen. That was months ago. I guess I should call again, but I know they're just going to say that they can't help me since another co. handles OnDemand.

Well I did find out that On demand's website is indemand.com, you could go on there and contact them....I almost did that.

Dean Koontz is one of my favorite authors. I had the pleasure of meeting him at one of his book signings for Intesity. I was in line and watching what he wrote for everyone. His standard autograph is...."Booh", Dean Koontz. When I got up to him, I told him how my favorite book of his and the one that got me started reading everything he has ever written was LIGHTNING. So, in my book he wrote, "May you always be safe from time travelling Nazis. Booh! Dean Koontz"

It was a wonderful moment for me.

The movie Intensity was a 2 part movie on TV back in the day. It was a made for TV and one of the best movie adaptations from one of his books, I have ever seen. Like the book, it does a great job of keeping you on the edge of your seat. Good luck in finding the 2nd part. It is well worth it.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

On Demand is the greatest thing ever to come to cable TV. I already had digital cable with Comcast and the HBO package when they started ONDemad earlier this year. We love it. If we miss a movie showing on HBO or a series showing on HBO we can watch it anytime of the day we want with ONDemand. For example, Curb Your Enthusiasm with Larry David, the new episodes would premier on Sunday evenings at 7:30pm, well that is way too early to watch that show with the kids up due to the language and subject matter, so the wife and I would watch it on Monday night on OnDemand after the kiddies were in bed. There are just so many options now. Even with your 400 channels on digital when there is nothing you are interested in, you can go to the OnDemand menu and find something free to watch. Many evenings on OnDemand we enjoy the Three Stooges, or something from A&E or the History channel. Even the guitar lessons from the music catagory have been interesting since we play.

You can complain about OnDemand all you want,

We love it.

You didn't read the whole thread I think. I love the OnDemand options and the variety. I just wish that it would work properly and that Comcast wouldn't brush off their customers when they complain about this.

I have no problem with on demand per say, comcast just needs to learn how to support it. I also don't get hbo...too much nasty stuff with the kids, but I could see how on demand would be great if you had that.
