Most Expensive Injured Player Ever - who?

Bartking

G-League
Just wondering....who is the guy that missed the most games in his career while drawing a big paycheck.....Alonzo??? Vin Baker? Anybody know?

I'm thinking Alan Houston has to be approaching that mark. 17 million and he's only played 20 games this year.

Grant Hill, but he's playing now. Houston's definitely up there. Mourning didn't really have a contract most of the time he was out.

Mashburn has to be somewhere in the conversation; he's making fairly near to a max contract, and hasn't played in a year.

I dont know who is #1 but one of the top 10-20 ahould be Chris Webber.

I don't think so. If the criteria is what players have missed the MOST games while drawing big paychecks, there are a LOT of players who have missed more games than Webber over the course of their careers.

I understand that, but I am just saying that he should be in the top 10-20. I think he has missed the most important games. We had a good chance to go deep in the playoffs 2 years ago, but thwn Webber got injured.

But that's not the question.

The question was, and I quote "who is the guy that missed the most games in his career while drawing a big paycheck?"

is this limited to the NBA? cause I was thinking about all the games Ken Griffey, Jr. has missed since he signed with the Reds.

davis, hill, houston and webber.... doesnt webber have like the 4th highest contract in the league.... he missed a [explicit] load of games last season with a fat *** contract..... didnt the magic get some cap relief last season for hill.... houston should have retired last season....

Why should Houston retire when he can make all that money? It would be insane to do so. Teams offer huge contracts knowing that there is always a risk of injury. That's the nature of the beast.

allan houston. grant hill is def up there, but he's playing now, which makes things a little better.

webber is NOT in this converstation as he is still playing, and at a high level.
