Monarchs vs Lifelock 7/11

I hope this game (at least for the first half) would show the M's (and their coach) that they should try their best to be a running/open court team. By running and gunning, they take advantage of their athleticism, rebounding, and fewer minutes played (less fatigue). Whenever they slow the game down, they get bogged down and shut down by the better defensive teams.

It was a heartbreaker.

Biggest plus..........

Courtney Paris scored 16 pts with 7 boards in 16 min of play. I love it!!

As hard as it was to watch the loss during the last 1.8 seconds, you had to feel good about Courtney's performance tonight.

Ya gotta love the battling in the paint, the 7 rebounds plus her 16 points.

Paris truly has talent to be devastating in the paint. She in my opinion has to get more PT. Her, Bek, and DeMya (tonight at least) should be our post rotation.

Agree...Paris was very impressive. Heatbreaker indeed. What a game to watch. I agree when we run, good things happen. Tanti & Powell like to push the pace when they have the ball. They played very well. Our house, came down to whoever had the ball last & they stole our W.

Major swagger award to COURTNEY PARIS;)

I'm content with the performance. They should've won though, but atleast they played well.

I'm not. We should have won that ball game. To me the key stat is their starting point guard who is 5'3" had 17 points and 6 assists, and our starting point guard who is 5'11" had 2 points and 3 assists. It was that plain and simple.

With that said, it seems the proverbial light bulb is on in Paris' head and she is ready to contribute. All of her production was done in 16 minutes, she was absolutely sensational. In fact on the offensive end they all were sensational (Powell, Walker, Robinson, Maiga Ba was the bomb!!!!:D) except our point guard(s). I know this is harsh, but I feel like we have no production at all from either point guard.

I am all in favor in a last ditch effort to save the season waiving a player, signing a point guard and putting Lawson back at the starting shooting guard position. Now I don't know who the player you waive and who the point guard would be, but I just feel we are not getting enough from either Lawson or Penicheiro.

But I will say that was the most entertaining game in a long while. I had a blast.
