Mobley 19 points/5reb/4assists/3steals/2blocks

'Just wait until April when we have BJAX & MO coming off the bench.'

I dont think Bobby is going to play for us again...he JUST had the surgury, takes 12 weeks to heal, then 12 weeks of rehab...and in my calculation, that puts him back in like 6 months. Correct me if I'm wrong, someone, but Bobby I doubt will be back at all for us, ever again.

You're wrong. ;)

8 weeks to heal and 8 weeks of rehab. Putting him back right around the end of April.

Thanks VF for the correction;) Thought I heard it would be longer. Anyways...I wonder how much he'll play when he does get back?? Especially, now that our bench is meshing together nicely all of a sudden, unexpectedly...and the addition of the Cat.

If the Sacramento Kings front office lets Evans go this off season and they don't pay him, they are the dumbest people on the planet.

No it isn't.

I wasn't the least bit disappointed to see Jackson leave, and frankly, I'm glad that the POS isn't on our team right now. If we lose Evans, it'll be a shame, but I won't lose any sleep; at this point, I've decided that watching young athletic talent walk is just par for the course with this team.

im talking about his view on evans leaving not jackson...

Whether the Kings do or do not resign Cat, Mo, Bobby or anyone else will be done with the other eye looking directly at Peja. After next season Peja has an option and you can be sure that he will opt out if the Kings do not lock him up for a long time.

That's a beautiful line from Cat in only his second game for the Kings. I'm very excited for things to come. Go Kings!!!!

Just got finished atching the replay. Mobley was very nice. Im very happy with what Ive seen from him so far. Keep it up cat!

Is there a site that I can watch the replay for free? or any in the internet? I really don't like Mobley, so I would like to see that game or last Saturday's game and maybe I might change my mind...

Can't the Kings sign him to an extension or something? I agree though, if the Kings want to resign Peja, they will need to preserve some $$. Maybe hang on to BJax for his final Kings season and let him go to free agency (or trade him). The question Geoff Petrie has to be asking himself is this, "Do I try to re-sign Cat and Evans and hope there is enough $$ left to re-sign Peja in a year? Is Peja worth it?"

After next season the extension is a player option, not a team option, which means the Kings only get the extension is Peja is willing. I think the answer to the last question (is Peja worth it?) may rely heavily on how Peja performs in the playoffs this year. Peja is indispensable in the regular season, and has been for several years. But, playoffs have been more of a problem. I love Peja & hope we keep him, but I am hoping to see a great showing from him come playoff time to justify my faith! Other complications include the fact that Peja has already indicated that he does not plan to resign with the Kings. Yes, all seems well now, but that doesn't necessarily mean that he has changed his mind.

The Kings can sign Peja to an extension at any time...they do not have to wait until his current contract runs out. The problem though is that the player option after next season is for a little more than 8 million and unless Peja has a horrible injury or some other unforeseen thing happens to his career there is no way that he elects his option. Peja will want a max or near max contract which by then may put his first year of the deal around 13-14 million at least. Needless to say, it's going to be very very hard for the Kings to have Peja around with Webb, Bibby and Brad still on the books.

So, if the Kings can re-sign Peja, who goes? Brad? Bibby? Webber (like anyone wants his contract;) )? Seems like some tough decisions are on the horizon. Perhaps we should just trade Peja to Orlando for Doug Christie (I hear he's a pretty good defender:D ) that way Peja can play with Hedo (or is it Mike now?) some more.

I have no idea who goes, but that's why Petrie gets the big money for what he does. I look at it this way...the Kings, as we know them now (Mike, Webb, Peja, Miller and co.) have this season and next to win a title...if not then some of those pieces are going other places.

Webb also has a player option in two years. Wouldn't that be something if he opted out and took a pay cut so the Kings could resign Peja? But I think that's asking a little too much.

And next season may be a lock-out year...

Bibby is on the books until after the 08-09 seaons and Miller until the 09-10 season. So, yes...I think they will be on the books for a long time and most likely those will be the Kings' books (barring a trade).

My question is which one will go? Peja, Miller, or Bibby? Or will the Maloofs take a year of massive over-salary-cap-ness until to keep all four (until Webber's deal is over)

I don't think it's cast in concrete that any of those guys will be going anywhere. I think a LOT is going to depend on what the team ends up doing this year. The Maloofs aren't going to put the cart before the horse.

Very true. If we were to win a championship I believe you would see the Maloofs being a lot more generous than they would be if we lost in the first round.

Very true, plus, players may be willing to get paid a bit less to pay for a championship caliber team, especially if that team wins rings... we'll see... plus we have the possibility of a lock-out next year which screws everything up.
