Ryle said:There was little blurb in the paper yesterday saying his agent first wanted a multi-year deal starting at over a million and he now indicates(based on the market) that his client may want the full mid-level exception.
It's based on statisical observation, it so correlates to the housing market.VF21 said:Is this based on new news or just an overall observation?

nbrans said:I'd lock him up to a long term deal for as little as possible, and I'd match any offer. Shooting guards with freakish athleticism who hustle like crazy and knock down open 3's do not come along every day.

with ZERO professional games under Garcia's belt, I do not think statesments like that can be made. Maybe it is true, we just dont know.$-King4Life-$ said:Garcia is a better ballhandler than either Kmart or Evans IMO.
I guess we'll have to wait and see during the season.

nbrans said:Wait, you're talking about Maurice Evans, right? The guy who turned the ball over 0.5 times a game, committed 1.6 fouls per game and was clutch against the Sonics in the playoffs?
Just checking.
piksi said:In how many minutes ??? (per game including games that he did not play)
nbrans said:Actually, if you look at the 48 minute averages, Evans LED THE TEAM in the fewest turnovers per 48 minutes.
That's not exactly poor decision making.
He also had fewer fouls per 48 minutes than Bobby Jackson and Matt Barnes (not to mention virtually all of the big men on the team).
