Mo Evans to IL; Daniels activated

Too bad.

These will be the biggest 5 games or so of Kevin Martin's young NBA career. I hope and am confident he will do exceedingly well.

Our overwhelming amount of injuries is the single most frustrating thing about being a Kings fan these days.

Very bummed to see the news about Mo Evans. It is going to be sad seeing him and Bobby sitting in street clothes when we are looking to our bench for some energy. However, I agree that Kevin Martin will step up. This is a great opportunity for him to shine.

I believe it was Sam Malone on Cheers that once said there is no such thing as a MINOR groin injury!;)

Here's Another One ...

I hate pain, it hurts so much.

signed ... annonymous

I think it might'a been Yogi Berra .... sounds like Yogi.

As long as its just 5 gms, we'll be ok. But as GM said (or Sam said ;) ), you never know when it comes to groin injuries. They are a bit like hamstrings and have a tendency to linger. In any case, can't cry too much about a minor tweak like this. Every team has guys miss 5 games here and there. Our problem is that we specialize in the 3 month lingering injury and the playoff injury, which are different things altogether.

Feel ok though with Martin and Barnes lurking around to fill in. Can provide some of the same boost.

So does anyone think that Daniels will actually get some playing time? Don't we already have Martin and Barnes in the backup roles? Do you think we will need to go that deep to the bench, or do you think he will just get garbage time?

It's Daniels time baby!!

Well not sure about his range, but he also has that nasty pass-up-the-open-jumper-to-force-the-drive habit that may rob him of some opportunites as well.

I think in the '99 season and 2000, they had no injuries! As well as 2001, JWill's last season. Maybe after JWill was traded, he cursed the Kings of injuries. hehe

Yeah, there was a year, maybe 2000, where the Kings were the LEAST injured team in the league. Oh, glory days.

Oddly enough, he was a very good collegiate 3 point shooter, above 44%. I remember reading somewhere that he set some team records. He's deadly from that college range, but perhaps hasn't developed the confidence at the NBA distance. He's got to take that open shot. If you got it, TAKE it! Hit a few from your comfort zone, and work your way back.

KG, did you threaten him before the game like you said? He wasn't "on" last night besides the fact they act like he's not on the floor about 50% of the time. I agree, he needs to shoot more because he can do it. He broke nearly every record at WCU and I for one would like to see him start playing that way here. But, he will lay back and let everyone else do what they do as long as the Kings win. He's looking more comfy all the time but, from what I see, the team needs to include him and he will excel.

Can't remember who posted the pic's of willie, but thanks! they were great.
