Mo Evans Next Year?

What are we going to pay this BIG man with? A pair of Webber's old socks? All we got is the MLE. Thats it we can't give a FA anymore than that. Anyway my point wasn't the PF position it was moslty about Mobley and Williamson for Artest.

Well we BETTER have picked up all of these mid-range contracts for SOME reason (i..e sign and trades). If we are stuck with a stack of middling $5 million frontcourt players we are going to have a hell of a time ever geting back to elite status (not good, elite -- I think we've already begun to forget how good we were just a few short years ago).

Also you don't want to miss the boat on Ron either. Imagine that incident changing his life and all of a sudden he puts that game he had in a rational thinking mind and becomes Jordanesque material. Hell if it don't work start Mo that is who you had starting at OG anyway right.

Hell lets go for the gusto. Peja, Thomas, and Williamson for Garnett and Hassell. It works on realgm. :)

Minnesota is not trading KG for anyone not named Duncan or Lebron. Why would they? And what Bricklayer said is exactly right. That's why we're having all of these trade threads. Because Petrie surely didn't make that deal because he wanted the Kings to be a good team. If we want to be a great team again, we've got to do some dealing.

And we will, in about 3-4 months. I just like to speculate early!

I have said before that Boozer would be a nice option. Maybe trade Thomas, Williamson and Mobley and get Boozer and Harpring. If we go the free agent route what good PF are out there besides Swift and Abdur Rahim?

At first glance: Udonis Haslem, Sam Dalambert, Tyson Chandler, Kwame Brown (oh wait, they have to be good you said!)

On another note, here are some other free agents:
Ric Fox
Robert Horry
Mark Madsen

Haslem is not a good option. Made by Shaq.

Dalembert, Chandler, Brown, Marshall, Gadzuric, Swift etc. are all out there though.

Mark Madsen  ...I don't think I could stomach his goofy, intense cheer-screaming from the bench even in a Kings uniform.

I don't know if the players listed fit in the Kings offensive system. We heavily rely on players who can shoot and none of those players really have a jump shot aside from Marshall, but he is getting old. Defensively they would definately be an upgrade, esp with guys like Dalembert and Chandler, who hustle and block shots. But in the end, the best thing to do may be to do a trade of some sort.

Well, these guys would likely have to be acquired through trade as the better ones would be out of our salary cap exception range. And as for our system, we rely on players who can shoot TOO MUCH, and desparately lack a post presence.

Mo can be a very effective player with more playing time and he needs to take 300 shots a day during off days to get his shot down

I like Mark Madsen...i was never a fan of his until i saw him do that "dance" at our nations capitol a few years back...

IMO that dance was right up there in the ranks of Elaine from Seinfeld for THE BEST DANCE EVER!

LMFAO
